When it comes to the presentation, I would personally like 2k to drastically change the scoreboard and the pre-game show for the era you played your teams in. For example, the 80's had the cheap pre-game introduction animation and I would want to see that. Maybe for the 60's, they can bring back the time where the 24-shot clock was on the floor and not hanging on top of the basket. Or maybe the text they used in the early 80's wi the cheap overlays to show the stats and stuff. To make this even better, maybe they can add an optional filter in the game. For the 50's and 60's, they could give you the option of putting it in black and white. For the 70's, a grainy and slightly colored one. For the 80's, a grainy colored one, for the 90's and early 2000's, maybe that vividly colored yet sort of grainy filter. This would make it extremely immersive.

I wish that 2k would take my advice and get rid of this archetype system. In basketball you can't have archetypes because players want to be able to impact the game in multiple ways. I think 2k should have a system where you have a primary secondary and tertiary play style. So if I want to make a Player similar to Harden I could make my primary a Slasher, my secondary shot creator and my tertiary playmaking.

Ability to choose the rookies who go into your MyCareer. Just allow us to select a draft class before each season starts and that can be the rookies for the next year. Imagine putting in some legends in as a rookie such as MJ or Kobe, or playing against this year's upcoming draft class. NBA 2K6 had this dope street ball challenges and if you grinded for like a full week you could beat it. There would be like 8 challenges per park, and whenever you beat someone you got their number. There would be 2 on 2 challenges and you would have to call someone you beat to come play. It would start with dumb ones like Greg Ostertag, and work up to legends like Bird, or celebs like Flava Flav. All celeb games were done at The Rucker though so that was cool. There were challenges like inverted controlls, No Jumpshots, and so on. Honestly such a dope game mode.

I really agree with everything you said in this video I really think 2k should listen to people like you. I feel like what made live 05 great was that it was probably the most fun game to play. I remember the first time I was taught about basketball my dad exposed me to live 05 and I couldn't put down. For ex i feel like more creativity and fun can go into blacktop, i feel like 2k should allow the user to pick their own locations like rucker park, venice beach, the drew league, chicago ect. they could also have the fans get in the game and be exciting (think games like NFL street).I think it just barrels down to focusing on creating a more fun and enjoyable game for the people and for 2k or live to smarten up and listen to the people.

Alright so, this are my thoughts. I believe that if 2K implemented something as to where you can choose the time period where you want to start your career. Like you can choose to start your career in the 90's, and be drafted next to players like Shaq, Kobe, and go against Jordan, or you can go a little back and play next to T-Mac and Vince Carter. Sure it doesn't make a lot of sense, but I think it's kind of a cool idea, creating your player to play against the greats of the past, rather than living in the present.

Please bring back create a team. 2k said they would bring it back but failed to do so. It was no where near like how it was 2k11 12 or 13. 3. Mylegend or legend challenges. This was the reason why i loved 2k. I played as kobe or dwight and did so many things. 4. Fix the servers. Nuff said. 5. Build around myteam. Ever since 2k15 myteam is trash. We used to have gold players from 80 ovr to 99 and silver players that went to 80 ovr. 15 had rubys that were amazing and packs were lit. Allstar packs, TBT!!!, and historic packs. And even though the challenge rewards used to suck in 15, those challenges were way better. Yao, wilkins, petit, 10k, 5k. I mean 2k is fr taking a step back. 6. Lmao I said 5, but 2k stop trying to get our money. Why do we have to pay for VC. The app used to give us 500vc minimum each pick before. Accessories used to be cheap. Same as shoes. And shoes used to give us boost. And we used to get VC for free

i totally forgot about the nba store from live 05. That was such a nice low-key feature that just disappeared. I must admit, NBA live 05 is actually one of the better games I kind of forgot about over time as I became more of a 2k player
