5 Facts about Judith Butler!
Judith Butler is a renowned philosopher and gender theorist, born in 1956 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
Butler received her PhD in Philosophy from Yale University in 1984.
Her 1990 book "Gender Trouble" became a landmark in feminist theory.
Butler is a prolific author with over 20 books and hundreds of articles to her name.
She has been a vocal critic of Israel's treatment of Palestinians and supports the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement.

She literally has me thinking it’s better to abolish the concept of gender leaving only sex. Like, isn’t self expression basically your personality? She can promote the same freedom of expression without the complicated Gender ideology. Don’t see how not, unless there’s an underlying feminist agenda behind her ideas.

Sex is an extension of gender. You should read her work.

Um, having only sex leads you to a few issues, one you have the existence of transexuals, second intersex, third, sex has been historically used to divide society..if you have a decision of sex that decision becomes a binary gender system. Unless you see that a society without gender is a society that only has two sexes(or three if you include intersex). So I don't get how your two sexes thing is different from how society was say 100 years ago. There is no difference unless you get rid of the binary gender which leads to butlers theory being very important
