I'm loving the golden girl bit so far. Only down side is I need to tweek all of my files to utilize it now lol. It saves the most CNC time with pockets but for me it really shines for the cutout, roughing the profile and a full depth pass with a finishing bit saves so much time sanding.

Thank you! Yes no one is doing this and yet this video won’t get many views. I try to give practical advice that someone can actually implement whether it’s a business tip, CNC tip, or project tip! I really appreciate you recognizing that:)

How well does the interior of the BamX machine? Like could you vcarve a name or something in the bottom of one the trays for an epoxy fill or paint? Thanks!

Those came out beautifully. The bamx is such a versatile panel and never disappoints. Love how informative your videos are.

Hey mate, we are in qld Australia. my 15yr old started selling chopping boards and serving trays a few months ago with 3 asd/adhd buddy's like himself(I have since seen you opinion of these products :) ) we just got a cheap and nasty 3018 to start the learning curve. planning on personalizing his current products with a makers mark and offering some options. cheers for the vids, loved to see your success with the man stand.

I love this product and made some Christmas trees. They look great but be careful the bigger trees warped on me and it took some time. I still love the material and the look just keep in mind what you do with it. ❤❤❤

I fixed that with the BamX, it used to do that with some of the older stock, it does it much less now, but I would still avoid super thin trays, wood is wood, it always tends to not like being thin and exposed to air.

I love the look of Bamcore - and these projects too. I'm in Canada. Does anyone have experience importing Bamcore from CIC to Canada??

Running the Onfinity as well, what speed do you recommend for the Golden Boy XL? Cutting pockets in pine.
@cutting-it-close2 ай бұрын
Depends how tight your pocket is, 300 inches a minute is no problem. 600 inches a minute would be no problem, but it would probably not get to that speed. So as fast as you’re comfortable with honestly. Easily 300 ipm no issues with that speed
@codypayton23472 ай бұрын
@@cutting-it-close holy cow, I’m running it at 125 and it’s nerve wrecking lol. Pockets range from 4x6 to 8x16 all 1.5” deep. Thank you for responding!
@cutting-it-close2 ай бұрын
What’s your pass depth? I would at least run it .25 deep per pass, you can easily go deeper though
@codypayton23472 ай бұрын
@@cutting-it-close I’ve been doing .50 pass at 80-125ipm.
@cutting-it-close2 ай бұрын
Yeah you should easily be able to run 300 ipm

As shallow as those trays are, what might they be used for? Are they decorative or are they intended to be functional?
@cutting-it-close2 ай бұрын
I priortize functionality above looks, make sure you get one that works great! I like the Onefinity, it does what I need it to do! - Link is in the descrption

The material cost is incorrect if you used your Bam boards. Total cost with your shipping cost would be 65 dollars.
