As a former trans person, I can attest to how awful the movement is. I couldn't see it before breaking down before God and surrending to His will. Now, it's all I can see. Actually, I don't know who to talk to about it or relate to. Since then, the world looks so awful and broken. I see nothing of substance in anything I previously held dear. TV Shows, music, things, it's like I am looking at ash. I don't even like being up when it is dark, or when the skies are gray. What is going on? I'm sorry if this is off-topic, but there are virtually no resources for people who want to de-transition and be part of a community that preaches repentance and salvation through Christ. I'll keep looking, but I was just wondering if any has ever experienced this when the repented and starting living in obedience to Christ.

My spirit and heart rejoices for the truth that you have found, yet grieved for the isolation you now feel! This should not be the way. There are others, but it is silenced. It is beyond grievous that even our churches do not stand for truth to provide this safe place and space for truth to reign for those who have come to know the truth of our LORD and choose to repent, no matter what the transgression/lie that was firmly believed in! It is true that the world around us is ashes to those who see through all the lures leading to disobedience and satisfying the flesh. There are areas of undefilement though. Nature, scripture, music from the past (ie classical, instrumental, hymns, etc. Sons of Korah is great, they sing only the Psalms, so is Shane and Shane and The Psalms Project). Sometimes a complete purge is necessary and an abstaining period to reset one’s mind and heart and strengthening convictions to keep the flesh and its desires unified with the truth and not the desires of the “old man”, for through faith in Yeshua/Jesus, one is now a “new man”. (“man”= mankind, human) Colossians 3:1-10 (NASB95) 1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory. 5 Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. 6 For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience, 7 and in them you also once walked, when you were living in them. 8 But now you also, put them all aside: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. 9 Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, 10 and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him-- Ephesians 2:1-10 1 And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2 in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience- 3 among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4 But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ-by grace you have been saved- 6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 4:21-32 (ESV) 21 assuming that you have heard about him and were taught in him, as the truth is in Jesus, 22 to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, 23 and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, 24 and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness. 25 Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each one of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members one of another. 26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and give no opportunity to the devil. 28 Let the thief no longer steal, but rather let him labor, doing honest work with his own hands, so that he may have something to share with anyone in need. 29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. 32 Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you. 1 Peter 1:14 (ESV) As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, You are in my prayers dear one! Cling to Him, keep your eyes focused on the ultimate finish line which is heavenward and know that His Kingdom is far more real than anything this world has to offer. His Kingdom to come will wipe every tear and comfort every sorrow, all former things will pass away. (Revelations 21). May the LORD bless you and keep you, at His face shine upon you and bring you peace/Shalom. 🙏🏻💞🙌🏻

I've been preaching on this passage recently (I'll post it at the end), and it rings true for what you were describing about "ash". Remember that you are a New Creation in Christ, and your Identity is in the Body of Christ now! We're one big eternal family, you've got all the Love in the world. I've felt similar, once you experience REAL Love, all the counterfit love out there starts to feel ... wrong somehow. So many things I thought I loved were actually harmful to myself and others, and it's a long process of sanctification to come out of that. 1 Corinthians 3:12-16 (NASB95) 12 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. 14 If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire. 16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Thanks for sharing something so personal. The other day, I was alarmed to see Piers Morgan debate a non-binary (woman-with-penis) parent (living with two others, same) who managed to get or adopt 2 children aged 1 and 7 whom he described as non-binary gender and refused to reveal their biological genders which he said were irrelevant. He said 'they' (pronoun when speaking about them individually) were discovering their gender identities. And that there are over 100 genders. That is very concerning. How can a one year old possibly understand anything about gender identity. Guys like that shouldn't have children or be allowed to force their gender ideas on innocent children which could damage and confuse them. He gave female names for them but his unwillingness to reveal their biological genders suggests they're probably boys. So here you have 3 trans-gender guys basically using two boys as a social experiment to see if their biological genders can be changed!

Huh, imagine that. It's almost like you were simply having a tomboy phase and not suffering from Gender Dysphoria. Of course, it also seems like you assume that medical care providers would just give you the full treatment with your parent's blessing without, oh I don't know, a period of discussion and evaluation to determine if it's even needed. This is a procedure including rather specific drugs, hormones and possible surgery, not f*cking pain pills passed over a counter.

I agree with your perspective, but let me play devils advocate. I was healthy, but unhappy with myself, the way I looked, the way I felt, the way others perceived me. Started going to the gym and saw some results, continued for a few years without seeing the transformation I wanted and was unhappy. Began taking anabolic steroids and experienced the kind of growth and progress toward my goal I had been wanting. I've cycled on and off multiple times over the past decade and the benefits have been tremendous, both physically and emotionally, even economically since I performed better at work. Your question isn't specific enough. Even I can provide a reasonable argument that serves as an acceptable defeater and I agree with your stance on Transgenderism. You've essentially asked a question that can be overcome by a subjective perspective

@@skylee5029 But do anabolic steroids have lasting effects on the body that destroy it? Stop reproductive organs from functioning? Cause osteoporosis? Can you reverse them and remain healthy? @skylee5029
@skylee5029 Жыл бұрын
@@gowest8184 there can be lasting effects if steroids are used improperly. Say, staying on cycle too long, like a full year or longer, Testosterone and some other compounds can end up completely shutting down the body's natural production. There are however other recovery substances called Post Cycle Therapy drugs that restore normal functionality. Usually, you'll be fine and have no complications as long as you take the appropriate PCT. Some potential permanent or severe problems can be excessive blood pressure due to increasing blood volume and thickness, strain on the heart from many compounds, gynocemastia (growing breasts), damage to the kidneys and liver, psychological problems or behaviors caused by the compounds or cycling off without the proper PCT, the one unavoidable while on cycle is the speeding up of hair loss. Most, if not all of these problems can be avoided if you plan out your cycle correctly and avoid alcohol or other drugs and even pharmaceuticals while on/cycle, plus taking the correct PCT for whatever compounds you were taking while on cycle. If you do your research, educate yourself thoroughly, pay attention to side effects and know how to mitigate them, you'll have very few unavoidable side effects.

If you're taking exception with someone's view, then you need to actually take exception with THEIR ACTUAL VIEW, and not some kind of pre-conceived straw man caricature that you've created by plucking some verse out of context to use it in your particular vacuous pretext disguised as a clever objection. That kind of thing may fly on the internet, where most of the people speaking and writing don't know much about what they are talking about, but you're not communicating with a person like that. There is certainly more to marriage than sex and children - but the REASON marriage exists is because sex results (when both husband and wife are healthy and of the right age) results in children. Since human beings reproduce sexually and since children take close to twenty years (when society is sane) to become physically and emotionally mature, it is necessary for mother and father to be committed to each other and to enjoy legal protection and the rights necessary to raise their children.

@@mugglescakesniffer3943 marriage is a universal phenomenon. It is varied somewhat in expression, but it has existed even before governments formalized it in law. @@AnglicanXn before speaking was the word marriage a thing? NO marriage is a word humans invented to describe a certain kind of relationship between two humans typically a male and female. polygamy has been practiced more in history than it has not. The bible even has polygamy. only in modern times have Christians changed the marriage to mean literally one man and one woman in an exclusive relationship. the Bible talks more along the lines of the one woman and man as a sex act of two becoming one. They have made the one woman and one man thing by taking certain verses and taping them together to make a one woman one man narrative that is clearly not in the entirety of the bible. The marriage institution in America is different to other marriages around the world. The powerful get to defne what it is for their culture. Only in recent days with a level playing field and no fear of death as a revenge are people speaking up about alternate kinds of marriage. Again Marriage is a human concept created by humans.

I wish that I could share this video with my husband's family here in Seattle, WA, especially with my 88 y/o Catholic mother-in-law who states that because she's a retired RN she believes people are born this way and Christians are wrong on this...that we twist scripture to be anti-gay, anti-trans, anti-abortion, we spread hate vice love, etc. She's a very progressive Liberal Christian. However, I know that no matter what videos, bible scriptures, Internet articles, books, etc. that I forward to her it just doesn't matter. There is no convincing her otherwise. I am at a loss. I watch all these videos that tell us how we should respond to Progressive Christians and non-Christians, questions we should ask, etc., but it makes no difference. We are hating, bigots, homo/transphobes, racist, etc. So I don't know what else to do other than to just keep praying to God and asking Him to deliver her. I'm the most concerned with her because she's 88 y/o (a very healthy 88 y/o). There are so many admiring qualities I love about her, but I just cannot handle being around her and other family members when they start talking politics and cultural issues (at every family event). My last lab results last week revealed that I now have hypertension, which I've never had an issue with before. My primary care at the VA has stated they have seen an influx of patients with high blood pressure and depression...and in younger patients, not just us older ones. If I could divorce my husband's family, I would, but I can't. And I do love them and they do love me. We would all do anything for each other despite our differences. But I'm telling you that this family has really tested me and caused me to have doubts (thankfully, I was able to work through doubts by staying in God's word). On the other end of the spectrum, my own family has made Trump their idol just as my husband's family did with Obama. Prayers please!

That's a problem now we are seeing more and more. People like your mother-in-law are being indoctrinated by the left and liberals. They even have their own self-appointed so-called Christian priests...I've seen videos of one preaching in a rainbow themed church draped in Pride colours saying homosexuality is not a sin and same-sex non-binary marriages are ok in the church. Ironically it was reported that after that sermon the church was hit by a bolt of lightning!!! I have no idea if it's true but that's how I saw the clip someone uploaded before the church was struck after a sudden thunder storm. I don't know what church they represent but no mainstream Christian religion holds to that position. The Catholic Church has a whole page on their website prohibiting both. The Church of England made same-sex marriages illegal and hasn't changed its position on homosexuality being a grave sin as per scriptures. The same as Orthodox Christianity, Judaism and Islam.

Gentlemen I am a Transgender Woman and I wanted to take a minute and respond to your video. First, to give you some background, I am 50-years old and fully transitioned about 5 years ago. I also lean right politically. With that said, let me start by saying there are some ideas that you speak of that I agree with and some that I don't. First, I agree that the current transgender ideology is a social media issue. Yes, most (95%+) of kids who state they are transgender right now will change their mind. As a result, the kids need to be protected from the people who are allowing them to do any body modifications. Once they are an adult, that is their choice, but there is also a reason why we have an age that we recognize as an adult. When it comes to the pathology of gender dysphoria, for some of us (again very few) it is a very real thing. It is a painful condition that we cannot change. The problem is that previously, even as late as a few years ago, to transition (to get hormone replacement therapy or surgery) you had to undergo rigorous counseling and and psychological evaluation. Now, as you stated, all you have to do is say, "I am transgender." We need to bring back a standard of care. I also agree that there are only two genders. Take the prefix 'Trans' which is defined as moving from one place to another (ie transcontinental means to go from one coast to the other). With that in mind, being transgender means to move from one gender to the other which in itself proves only two genders. One of the problems here is that we shamed the word 'Transsexual' which is much more accurate. Lastly on surgery, as stated above, I have had all surgeries. I did not do them under the illusion that it changed my biological sex. After I am dead, in a hundred years if someone digs up my bones, they will say, "This was the body of a male." I can't change that. I did the surgeries to approximate my perpetual self image. I feel better about me and it was right for me. I was also an adult who went through 10+ years of therapy to make sure it was the right thing. Kids should NEVER be subjected to this! Again, while I may not agree with all of your positions, I appreciate your point of view. I hate that Dr. Turek was fired for his beliefs. I have been down a similar but opposite path. I do challenge you both to keep an open mind that not everyone that identifies as "Transgender" is part of the problem. Many of us disagree with the politics and 'woke-ness' that has engulfed this country.

You do realise people are just going to read this and call you "woke" regardless, right? Unless you denigrate yourself and present yourself as lesser-than, he won't respect you. And he'll never respect you for who you are because he doesn't understand, nor want to understand. He wants to recoil in disgust at transgender folk and then construct this self-contradicting ideology about how transgender "ideology" doesn't make sense to him. But no matter how much he says that, trans folk have always existed and always will.

Sorry, but you are walking around wearing a costume, which is insulting to many people for many different reasons. If you just wanted to be you, then you wouldn't have done any surgeries. You didn't really want to be you. It's very painful because you never accepted yourself for the way you naturally are. Could you imagine a little person all of their life hating themselves for being a little person, so they have surgeries to put stilts in their legs? Sorry, but you sound that far out there to me.

@@CelticSpiritsCoven It sounds far out to you because you have absolutely no clue what you're talking about and have no understanding of this topic. A better analogy would be that you are going up to a gay man and saying "You aren't accepting yourself for the way you are, you are a man, and therefore should date women." That's not how that works. You don't have to date women and you don't have to present as a woman either, if that's not how your mind operates. Accepting oneself means accepting that you have different wants and needs, that people are different, and that's OK because you don't always have to fit in a little box conservatives wish to place you in just because they struggle to wrap their heads around things that sound "far out" to them. Actually go talk to people with an open mind and understand what they're going through before disregarding people's entire life experience.

Another issue tied to the transitioning of children, particularly with boys, is that they do not fully develop their sexual organs and then there is no organ to 'repurpose' for the reassignment surgery. The LORD does deeply care for you. This fall effects the natural world just as it does the spiritual world. Based on your comment it appears you are referring not to mere preference but physically biological forms and attributes that cause you to be intersexed. I apologize if this is a wrong understanding of your comment. But, I will address this first then cover the option of the inner world being the driving force instead of having dual reproductive forms. Physical changes can happen on any level. The unfortunate thing is that some are exploited in social environments more than others. Those who were born mute were ostracized and ridiculed and called “dumb”. They were often treated as though they had the plague. Same with the blind. Just read about the blind man in John ch 9. He was born blind and the people believed he was this way due to sin. Any malformation was considered to be a result of sin either ancestral, parental, or personal sins. Some are born with it and some experience it in life (ie. chronic illness, onset of blindness, muteness, etc. Read Job) it comes in many forms. Down’s syndrome is another form we can physically see where life is altered on a severe scale. Once with Down’s is not able to live as a person who’s been formed in the intended way. Genetics codes do glitch. This is difficult, but it is also a reality of our fall. Is it fair? With a resounding NO I say it is not. However, we do not live in a fair and just world. Why? Because the Prince of the air who is filled with pride is hellbent on his mission to kill, Rob and destroy. Does the LORD not care then? May it never be! He cares about all! Just as Jesus says about the man born blind in John 9, John 9:3-3 (ESV) Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be displayed in him.” Does that mean all who are born differently are meant to be transformed physically to fit “normal”? This too is a resounding no. So how does the work of God get displayed in such a scenario because far more are born that are not physically transformed! His work comes with the agreement of truth despite the physical differences that attempt to defy such a truth. The enemy wants nothing more than for us to believe what we see than to believe in that which is unseen. But it is written John 20:29 29 Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” We are then met with a choice. Simple, yet massively difficult and further intentionally exacerbated by the leading of our flesh conjoined with the deceit and seducing of the enemy of our souls. The choice, therefore, is whether we buy into the lie that we are not fearfully and wonderfully made if we are not made “according to the design”. There is a flip side to this as well. If we then agree that we are in fact fearfully and wonderfully made does that then mean HOW we are physically formed is in alignment with the intended design and therefore determines what is real and true? If that were true then the LORD would be a liar and now we are faced with an even greater issue. So what is the answer? Where does one go from here? The simple yet difficult choice is presented. The difficult path is in agreeing with what is true at the same time we admit what has been made is not “wrong” but also not intended. It is just what has occurred because we live in a world bent toward entropy (a decline into disorder from order). It is not the fault of the one born in such a way. It is there unique cross to bear though. No, it’s not fair, but it does present the same ability to glorify the LORD just as anyone who escapes from living in a lie and comes to the knowledge of the truth. This leads to my next point. If it is not physical but a driving force coming from within that you feel as thou you are “intersexed”. It is nothing strange that is happening within you, it is just a form of temptation that effects you in a unique way, taking opportunity and exploiting the times we are in with the permission and promotion of such desires and ideologies. Everyone has a nonphysical cross to bear as well. Some crosses that have become socially acceptable and permissible make it ten times harder for those who battle in other ways. For example, adultery, reviling (abusive speech), fornication (heterosexual singles having sex outside of marriage) etc… all are just as “sinful” and must be fought with the same vigor. The root cause all begins with the desires of the flesh which every single one of us has to battle and subdue. Society does not dictate what is acceptable. Ones battle against idolatry, greed, swindling (intentional deception for one’s own selfish gain), can be kept hidden and unnoticed by those around them. But truth be told, the LORD considers those no different than the ones who fight against same sex attraction (just another form of lust that leads to defilement) and identity beliefs that also are purposefully poked and prodded upon to, again, lead to defilement. The goal is all the same, lead all humans to defile the LORD. Why??? Because those who PRACTICE such things will not inherit the Kingdom of Heaven. Tempted is not synonymous to practice. What we do with temptation is what makes all the difference. There is NOTHING new under the sun. All forms of temptations, malformations, fleshly desires (the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick, Jer 17:9), etc. have been around since the fall and exasperated by the lures, deceptions and pressures of the enemy of our LORD and our very souls. The louder those voices and messages are in our outside environment the harder it is to silence the deceptions in our hearts and minds. Yet, not impossible! Surrounding ourselves with truth that comes, not from man (including the professing believer) but from the LORD alone. We can glean from one another and be strengthened by our fellow believers, but all things must be searched out in the light of scripture. I am, and have been since reading your message, praying for you and interceding on your behalf. May the LORD of all truth and comfort shine the light on the path that leads to life! Prov 3:5-7 And May He strengthen you and embolden your spirit to be both continually renewed in Him and fortified against the deceptions and delusions of the enemy. Many blessings and much love to you! 🙏🏻💞🙌🏻

Dr. Frank Turek makes some good points about Transgender Ideology. Of course a potential problem is that if a man doesn't feel like a man, there could be an assumption that he must be a woman because sex is fixed. I have seen some transgenders who have made the switch and unsuccessfully become the opposite sex precisely because they don't understand what it is truly like to be the opposite sex they were born as. Not feeling like a stereotypical man or woman doesn't necessarily mean you have a woman's brain inside a male body and vice versa. Often it is the case that after the transition, the individual doesn't come across as the sex they are trying to be. Also there are physical traits that suggest they are still the sex they were born as, which is why it is unfair to let a transwoman compete in women's sports because they still have traits of a man physically.

@@HarryNicNicholas why do you think any one would go to hell for not purchasing a book? What do you mean by Jesus didn’t have the foresight to write anything ? Assuming you have read all of the authors listed ( some fantastic reading material in that list by the way) you must have a good understanding of the trinity and how the words of Jesus were documented ? It is far better than if Jesus just wrote a book himself. The whole Bible points to Jesus written over the span of centuries by a multitude of authors separated by time and space and yet cohesively point to the person of Jesus. Multiple authors writing about Jesus and the words he spoke are far more useful and reliable than if he sat and wrote about himself. Looking at it from a secular analytical point of view it’s far better to have the eye witness accounts of multiple people rather than one persons account surely ? J Warner Wallace is another great apologist you should look up. You seem to be a bit hostile to purchasing books so maybe just look him up on KZbin for now? I personally prefer to have books so I can make notes and refer back to them when ever I choose. Hope you find some clarity, Jesus book is called The Bible :) it’s my absolute fave! :D In the mean time take comfort that I definitely won’t go to hell if I don’t manage to procure this book. I noticed that, too. Social media may be the engine that drives the ideology through the minds of young children who are exposed, but it's mainly at this point coming into the schools because of the academics who are blindly following Kinsey and other gender-bending theorists and making it a priority for the lower grades. Theoretically, there will be less "transphobia" and more "acceptance" if kids are exposed and it is promoted to them as an option. The way to hell, as the saying goes, is paved with "good intentions." When one is at university, unless one is dissecting religion as a religious studies major or the like, one cannot speak about God as a believable reality unless one is referencing a Mesopotamian worldview of the cosmos as the progenitor of "god" or some OTHER type of beyond-this-dimensional-force -- you cannot speak about "the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob" specifically BECAUSE most of them are either Atheist or into some other eastern philosophy and they just DON'T WANT TO HEAR it. It's so ironic since the universities were originally founded to promote literacy so that people COULD read the Bible. Our very roots are being hacked away at, and at such a huge cost.

I'm a lifelong atheist, and although I've never had any issue with individual Christians, the truth is that I've always had criticisms of Christianity (and ALL religions).... But on THIS issue, of transgenderism, and the ideology of (sex-independent) "gender" overall, I find myself agreeing with, and actively supporting Christians, more than I have on any other issue (except maybe criticism of Islam). Sean talks about how this issue makes "strange bedfellows" (kinda ironic phrase, with this issue. But valid point), and it's true- I NEVER thought I'd hear myself agreeing with Frank Turek... But probably 80-90% of what he says here, I completely support. Up til the last 2 or 3 years, I NEVER expected that I'd support a staunch Christian conservative like Matt Walsh (10 or 15 years ago, I saw myself as "left wing"... But TODAY, I don't even know- "Centrist"? "Politically homeless"? *Anti-woke left"? I just know I've had major issues with the mainstream left, for close to a decade, now...) And even though I STILL disagree with Walsh on significant issues, I am a HUGE FAN of his opposition against the mutilation and brainwashing of perfectly health children, for no evidence-based reason at all. As well as "gender" nonsense, overall (and many more aspects of the insanity.of "woke" idiocy) Personally, I think it's hard to under-estimate the harm done (and potential for EVEN WORSE harm), by the 100% evidence-free ideology of "gender"- The physical harm to children, of using drugs, and from the mid-teens or even earlier (there are MULTIPLE cases of 100% needless double mastectomies, for no evidence-based reason, on girls as young as 12, although 15/16 is the "routine" age it's allowed.... Yet you're not responsible enough to legally rent a bicycle, or carpet shampooer, til age 18...). The harm of allowing ANY man, the right to invite himself into ANY female space. The EXTREMELY worrying precedent of claiming that children as young as 9, or even less, can somehow give "valid consent". The insane number of medical protections of patients we've thrown out, to allow these cosmetic body-modifications, justified by exactly ZERO empirical evidence. But maybe the MOST worrying aspect, is the erosion of THE VERY CONCEPT of "evidence-based truth"- If "men" and "women" are no longer defined by THE OBJECTIVE, PROVABLE TRUTH of biological sex, but rather on the 100% evidence-free, "just trust me, bro" testimony of "gender" self-ID (under threat of imprisonment in many places, already), then what OTHER objective, provable realities will we be forced to deny, in order to prioritize what "FEEEELS true, to me", to someone or other?!? It USED to be that empirical truths about the physical world were the one thing we could ALL agree on- Hindu, Muslim, Christian, atheist, agnostic, whatever; It USED to be that we could ALL agree that water boils at 100c, and that potential to get pregnant= female = woman, and that potential to produce sperm = male = man... But if ANY OF US can destroy such simple, provable truth, at ANY time, for ANY reason, solely justified by "but I don't FEEEL like accepting the objective, evidence-based truth, that is functionally the same as NOT HAVING ANY CONCEPT OF "EVIDENCE-BASED TRUTH"... It means that literally ANY claim can be asserted as """truth""", based solely on "but it FEEEELS true to me" (the exact same issue I have with ANY claim of """truth""", justified by "taking it on faith", btw...), and we have already set precedent, that others need to ACTIVELY AFFIRM that """truth"""", even if it openly defies every single shred of evidence... I just think this issue, ALREADY harming the physical health of countless children (and adults), and seriously threatening the basic concept of "truth" itself, that ANYONE SANE, REGARDLESS OF RELIGION, OR LACK OF RELIGION, OR POLITICS, OR DIFFERENCES ON OTHER ISSUES, REALLY NEED TO STAND TOGETHER, ON THIS ISSUE... We live in deeply politically-divided times, when I suspect that virtually all of us see this stuff in terms of "OUR side, vs THEIR side" alot of the time (I have CERTAINLY been guilty of this, regrettably...) But if there was EVER a time to put that aside, it's THIS issue... I will GLADLY put aside our differences, and 100% support Christians like Sean and Frank, and Matt Walsh, and others, on this vital issue... And I urge ANYONE who cares about needless mutilation of children, and/or about simple, evidence-based truth, to put aside their own differencs and stand by ANYONE, Christian, atheist, Hindu, Muslim, left or right, feminist, conservative, liberal, whatever- ANYONE who speaks out on this crucial issue, deserves ALL of our support....

What you realized is that you saw the handiwork of the Devil in this trans ideology. Maybe your mind will be opened more to realize the other handiworks of the Devil --> it's vast and wide. Think about this...... all the core principles of Leftism and the Democrat party are AGAINST the Bible. This isn't an accident. This is on purpose. Progressives wish to "progress" away from the Bible. Democrats and Leftists don't care about morality. They care about people being able to have whatever perverse sexual desires they want, and to kill whomever they deem unworthy of life. You are only just discovering that the hatred people have towards God is working like a Demon would do..... and guess what..... it's described in the Bible.... Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. At last your eyes were finally opened and you saw your first glance that the Bible is correct that people who hate God so much and progress as far away from the bible as possible, that the evil in their hearts acts like what a demon would do. And so this actually proves that there are invisible principalities going on, that the Atheist is unaware of.

Age bans on social media are futile in an imperfect world. FB has a minimum age of 14 to use but I know multiple parents who allow their kids to lie about their age or do it for them just so they can be on social media earlier. It’s the FOMO and parents are either projecting that into their kids or caving to the pressure and whining of their kids. Thankfully my teen has zero interest in social media. The other, I had household bans on it because I knew of the dangers but she moved out and is stuck to it all day and night, sadly to tik tok.

Intersex is an anomaly. Treating a physical genetic anomaly isn't the same thing as chemically castrating kids and changing their brain and body chemistry. In 11 Dutch studies, only 20% of kids who started transition in childhood persisted beyond age 18. Of the kids who persisted, every one of them was taking male castration drugs, puberty blockers, cross sex hormones. No child persisted without being medicated to create and perpetuate the dysphoria....and will need to continue this medication for the entire lifespan to maintain the dysphoria. Not even one. Without medication, dysphoria resolved during normal adolescence and puberty. This is definitive proof that these medications, designed to change body and brain chemistry, play a major role in dysphoria that doesn't resolve naturally. To conflate this intentional meddling with a child's brain and body with treating a genetic anomaly isn't honest. The intersex person needs no medication to exist as they are born.

This is a great video - thanks guys! I am so grateful that my parents are Christian, and that i found the Lord when i was young. I always felt so out of place, and hated pink and stereotypical girly things…… but i knew I loved the Lord, and knew i was a girl….. and was so blessed that i was encouraged to find my identity in Christ, and not create some identity like so many people are being encouraged to do today. I think the further people sway from theism, and relationship with God - we see this world descend to real disorder and chaos, and it is heart breaking for the children today. The amount of detransitioner stories and high rates of general mental ill health with the young people today is worrying. We need to definitely pray for the world, and not be frightened to stand up for what is right, and what is true. People will often call good “evil,” and evil good nowadays - not because they believe it to be so, but are frightened of the recourse if they speak up.

@@SeanMcDowell You are most welcome, Dr. McDowell. I finished listening to this episode today. I, once again, disagree with Mr. Turek. He clearly shared his compassion on this issue. There are a lot of success stories for trans people too. I am a co-host of a podcast that discusses religion. I am an Atheist that used to believe in the Christian god. I remind my co-host and listeners that Christianity actually does help some people be better people. There are millions or billions of success stories. When it comes to making legislation it is important to know where laws may succeed and fail. I support there being a minimum age before transformative medications are deployed for those who want a sex change. I support a higher minimum age for surgeries. I don’t support blocking their bodily autonomy for life. The laws go too far when they do. If nothing else more compassion is needed and not simply more rules for those wrestling with their body’s genitals. We have several trans listeners in our audience. If you would be open to speaking with a few of them, please let me know the best way they should contact you. I enjoy your podcasts because you are very genuine and you will correct your guests if they are mistaken about something the Bible says. That matters, Dr. McDowell. Once again, we’ll done.

Gender vs. Sex synonym is a slippery slope in the lost battle of our language. Sex = Biological. Gender = Linguistics. The language itself should be supporting, not disintegrated from one another. For example: Look at that boy over there, "HE" is very handsome. We would not say: "Look at that male over there, male is very handsome." The pronoun supports the biological sex and is supportive in language. If you tell a lie long enough (gender and sex are different), people begin to believe that there is truth to the claim.

Exactly! Point so well made when Turek said we do not cut off body parts for a mental condition. When did the AMA change their societies ethics? Of course ethics are defined as temporary now and said to evolve to meet demands of what people feel. But, feelings change… hummm

If you don't want to, that's your business, but why should your idiocy be allowed to persecute other people?
@CelticSpiritsCoven
@CelticSpiritsCoven Жыл бұрын
@@avishevin1976 Why should the Atheist cult religion be used to persecute other people? Without a Moral Law, there would be nothing objectively wrong with: *Christians or Muslims forcibly imposing their religion on Atheists. *Outlawing Atheism. *Confiscating the property of Atheists. *Gay-Bashing. *Racism. *Imperialistic wars. *Prohibiting abortion. *Birth control. *Limiting kinds of sex between consenting adults. *R*pe. Without the Moral Law, Atheists have no moral grounds to argue for their pet political causes. There is no right to an abortion, homosexual sex, or any of their other political sacraments because in a non-theistic world there are no rights. Unless Atheists claim that there is a God and that his Moral Law condones or commands these activities, then their positions are nothing more than their own subjective preferences. And no one is under any moral obligation to agree with mere preferences or to allow Atheists to legislatively impose them on the rest of us. So by rebelling against the Moral Law, Atheists have, ironically, undermined their grounds for rebelling against anything. In fact, without the Moral Law, no one has any objective grounds for being for or against anything! But since we all know that issues involving life and liberty are more than mere preferences-that they involve real moral rights-then the Moral Law exists.

Two questions: 1) How should Christians respond to friends and family members who transition? The reason I'm asking is because one of my friends was finally in his 70's diagnosed as intersex. As a child he regularly had his "equipment" examined by doctors but no one told him what was going on. Doctors would hum and hah but never tell him what was wrong. As early as three years of age, he felt he was really a girl and not a boy. This feeling continued all his life. Finally, last year he transitioned to a female. (While he did have almost non-existent male equipment, he also had high female hormone levels and physical indicators of intersex physiology but only was told this recently.) The problem comes from his prior history. He met a wonderful woman and married her. They were never able to have normal sex because of the lack of equipment and the fact that it would rarely work. However, a miracle happened and two children were eventually born (doctors said the births were indeed miracles). This mom died. The dad transitioned. And now that their father has transitioned, the two Christian children refuse to see their dad, will not communicate with her, and will not let her see the grandchildren. @SeanMcDowell, what would you say our Christian response should be to people who are intersex and people who transition? 2) not sure on Frank's intersex statistical number. I've read much higher incidents of intersex. Anyone know what recent credible research numbers are (and have citations)?

Him. The children don't want to see "Him". Sorry, but you can't change your gender and "intersex" is birth defect that he overcame and used his "equipment" to make a woman pregnant. He is clearly a man. Why should the children want to see him? Just because he's their father who is sinning? Maybe they don't want to be around the Devil. Maybe they are praying for him from a distance. Why would he torture his own children by doing this? He's clearly being a bad father. Fathers shouldn't alienate their own children by forcing over them something that is clearly against the core beliefs of their religion. Why are the children being the evil ones in this scenario? I think the evil one is the father.
