Very useful Tutorial, thank you! Do you know if there is a way to keep the Text tool active after writing a line? Having to continually touch the icon to activate is annoying!

You want to go to your preferences (the little gear on the bottom right) then choose the tools tab. You should be able to change it there.

Honestly, I've not used the sticky notes with the layer feature, but I do believe that the note is attached to the project, not the layer.

I always put silouette files on an external hard drive to save space on my laptop. Hope that helps

It does! Unfortunately, I break out in hives around any type of sewing machine. 🤣 I can look for more info, though. I know there are some embroidery files in the Silhouette Design Store, and there are some on Creative Fabrica.

The peace symbol made from the 1960s is not a peace symbol since the symbology is similar to Celtic and Norse runes that symbolises death. The so-called peace symbol today if we look at it simply looks like an upside down tree - thus representing the opposite of a prosperous life. If however this symbol is rotated 180 degrees the other direction, right side up, then what would we see is a tree surrounded by a circle, Earth. This symbolises life because in olden times Celts and Norse would interpret this symbol as the Tree of Life (Yygrasil). Therefore, if we want real true peace to reign on planet Earth, the circle in the peace symbol, then it is up to us to turn the peace symbol right side up again. Where then this signifies the bounty of the Tree of Life (Yygrasil) on planet Earth.
