Hi, some new tips here! I am debt free except mortgage, and pay £100 each into emergency fund and car maintenance fund. My one thing I can't get rid of is my hair and make-up fund! I have tried for years to find cheaper hairdressers, colour at home etc etc but I always end up going back to the same one which is expensive (for me) so now I just accept it. I have got rid of everything else. New subscriber here! 🎉

Welcome! Thanks for subscribing! It is such trial and error with the home hair stuff, I haven't got it quite how I want it yet but I am still trying to find the right colour.

I’ve been going to the beauty school for years and they do a pretty good job it takes a little longer but it’s only $25 for a color $10 for a cut

I thought the first one was spot on. I think we spend like there is no tomorrow. It is time we take responsibility and accountability for our spending and saving. If we don't then we will continue to live paycheck to paycheck.

Debt free including house is a game changer in my humble opinion. Was I the only one in the Maldives in November that shops yellow labels lol.

Yes I think that's so so true. Debt really holds you back.

Our treat is Friday ice cream. We have no debt. Insurance is pulled quarterly. We have a trash built that is paid quarterly as well. I use an app that has separate categories for savings such as vet, auto repairs, emergencies, unemployment (if one of us gets paid off). We buy a lot of groceries in bulk, so we can skip shopping occasionally. We have room for investing and saving.

When having a lot of people over have something like a delicious soup & crusty bread or a curry. Definitely vegetarian, but no need to mention it is a vegetarian meal. & as few different ingredients as possible. Omitting meat from a meal for many people will be a big saver. Also using fresh rather than packaged ingredients

Any advice for the following?...I have an anxiety when I manage to save some money and I stress about it until I spend it. I remember back in the day saving money was such fun and motivational, now it feels like stress.

Since there was a time when it stress you out, perhaps try to think back to when that changed. What happened? Why? How did it change your thinking? What can you do to deal with the emotions that changed your thought process. I had a belief that small amounts of savings wouldn’t make a difference, I know now I was wrong. I also felt like have fun today because some emergency will pop up and eat the money saved anyway. I’ve learn to have plan A, plan B, and plan C maybe even a plan D. This negates the expensive emergency issue.

I was useing 2 small electric heaters to heat my place. They only heat bout 10x10 area so i put 1 n barhroom n 1 n living room w me but the rest of place is COLD. So Lowes had a new pellet stove on closeout for $470. Thats less than hslf. Also they have complete pipe kit w ll included. A friend a church Deacon sells eood pellets n he'll let me have good discount. Another friend who sells n installs stoves will give me a significant DISCOUNT BECAUSE I DIDNT MARRY HIS SISTER. ANYWAY ITLL COST A LOT LESS TO HEAT THE ENTIRE PLACE THAN THE 2 HEATERS RUNNING N HEATING A SMALL AREA. IM SELLING 1 HEATER N KEEPING THE OTHER FOR EMERGENCIES

Check the volume of your speakers, or if they are properly connected. Also, you can check in settings either the sound is on or the device to listen the video are working properly.
