Hi that’s really crazy about watermelon, because in Chinese, “Shagua” means “silly melon head.” Like how we say “airheaded”!or something. Funny that melons have to do with intelligence in Chinese and Egyprian Arabic. Thank you for this video :)

There is an interesting story (perhaps it's true or perhaps it's a myth) but Toz comes from the Turkish word 'Tuz' meaning salt. In the days of the ottoman rule over the middle east, the Turks used to tax merchants for many foods, spices and produce, except for salt. So apparently when traders were asked by the tax official what they were carrying in their bags, many would try to lie and say Toz so they don't have to pay the tax, meaning it's something trivial or worthless, 'Don't worry about it' .. Whether this story is true or not I don't know 😂
