An S Tier hero (kappa) that gets great quest rewards. Not in this game, however, I just chose the best out of the worst. What was funny is that I managed to get 5 golden Bassgills very quickly. They had over 200/200 stats so that were very useful against stats and most importantly against scam

There's no reason to not just have a "Skip Combat" button at this point. Put this whole debate about the ethics of strategic DCs to bed once and for all.

At the start of certain combats, undead or beast usually, I will open Hearthstone on my phone and then immediately re open on my PC. It allows me to skip combat and get more time in recruit. Is this the ethical question at hand?

I returned to HS after years. Collected a bunch of decks. My old decks went to wild, at least a lot of them. Was overwhelmed reading new cards and trying to figure out what I should play. Tried battlegrounds. Only mode I play now

constructed is also overrun by bots now which very obviously play differently than a normal player. It also is annoying since I have never seen one of them use something like an OTK deck

I think Gunpowder Courier is underrated in infinite pirate comps and Peggy is overrated. Courier consistently scales your entire board, has faster animations and scales overall more attack than Peggy. Courier also buffs itself so it’s not a dead unit in combat. Defense you scale via lovesick balladist anyways once you go infinite. Playing courier lets you focus on what matters once your engine is running: cycling pirates until you get balladist. Idk maybe I’m totally off - I’m worlds away from your skill. Would love to know what you think about this tho!

Courier is okay if you have a full board of pirates, but with instances like these where we just have teth, peggy is better. Also most of the time you don't need more attack on your pirates but instead need utility, be it divine shield, cleave, matador, straight shot or what have you. More often than not the best pirates comp won't even play a full board of pirates and instead will fill out with utility units and have one or two massive pirates to carry on stats. In those kinds of instances the extra hp from peggy is very nice to have. Teth and peggy in particular have great synergy as teth is adding cards to your hand. The difference between golden peggy and golden courier is quite drastic as well. Courier really shines though when you have a full pirates board and aren't infinite yet but are almost there with cards like Record Smuggler being your main econ unit, then she can give you enough attack during the early-mid game to not worry too much about fights and get your comp together, she's also good with Get your warband to X amount of attack and Increase a Friendly minions stats quests

@Aether_Aurora i get the synergy between tethis and peggy and ofc brann. Peggy only buffs other pirates tho and is itself a dead card in combat. There were a couple combats in this video where a single extra unit with meaningful attack would have turned things around. Also for the longest time the board kept 4 pirates + brann. But even with just three pirates, one of them being courier, courier is the superior choice I think. I'd have to do the math tho and see if I'm not deceiving myself and if you're not getting almost the same stats with peggy.

@@xTobsecretx Well, peggy being a dead card on board can sometimes be good against beast comps, you taunt the small peggy and she denies goldrin dying. Some instances where you don't see balladist peggy can give some health to fight against summons. And yeah i'm not sure on the math either but it feels like brann and teth in particular would give the edge to peggy if there's only a few pirates, especially if she's golden. Two couriers definitely performs way better than two peggys though, since if she buffs herself its like she's stealing stats. Also if you need to scale a cleave or an Anchor courier is def more reliable as well.
