I can't wait for my pair to hatch their own 5 eggs. Just a few more days. They have a single surviving chick from their late Spring 3 eggs clutch. He's almost done coloring-up and has the same colors as your male. Edit : foud the update in the other videos.

Hi. No. That's their crop. They store the food in there neck before it goes down into their stomach.

Yes. They moult out into their adult plumage anywhere between 3 and 9 months I've found. It's great to see what colour they will be.
