I've always been able to emotionally detach myself lol. My girlfriends would always ask me how and I was like idk I just can. What I came to realise is I know my worth. Already thinking about catching feelings is where you go wrong. That places too much pressure on not only the date but yourself. Let things come naturally. Go into dates thinking this guy is Also I don't like opening up too lol. You don't have to tell your date all your business and you shouldn't feel pressured to either especially if you don't know if the guy is someone you truly like. Like I said all dates are for me is getting to know someone (on a surface level) and having a good time. I think the more you date the easier it becomes. Lastly final point, my priority in my life atm is myself, family and friends so even if I catch feelings and it doesn't work I will okay because I am fulfilled in other areas in my life. I suggest if you haven't already spend more time with your girlfriends, sisters etc as it would help in taking the pressure off your dates.
