I don't understand why people are always talking bad about HF they are like every store there's good and bad. Good to see you back

I stopped going in to Harbor Freight when they lost their minds and forgot who they were a couple of years or so ago! After seeing they finally returned to the HF everyone knew and loved I'm interested in going back to my local store. Good video, thank you!

They still don't have the coupons like they used to it seems. It used to be almost every couple weeks there was a 10 or 20 percent off coupon, and the more commonly found ones that you could use on just about everything....now they're very selective, and very seldom when you get a coupon of any sort it seems.

People like to talk crap about Harbor Freight bit some of their tools are pretty damn good. Their Datona 3 ton jack is amazing.
@wildbill23c3 ай бұрын
I have their 3 ton and 4 ton Daytona jacks. They are great. I got the 4 ton for my HD pickup as it seemed the 3 ton struggled a bit to lift it, at least the front end anyhow, does fine for the back as there is far less weight in the back of a truck than up front with that V10 engine, or the diesel engine....great jacks. I do have the 3 ton jack stands, I haven't got the 6 ton jack stands yet, but think I probably should for the truck to be on the safe side. Its nice to be able to jack up the whole truck and have it on jack stands, to do tire rotations and other work that requires wheels off the ground. The rapid pump really makes lifting quick too.

Your Dewalt planer is over 90 lbs. - it's a heavy beast! You must be stronger than you think. 😀

Hi Phil! Thanks for watching the video! You're right, it definitely is a heavy beast. My weight estimation was way off, lol. Thanks again!

Yeah, those things are heavy for sure. I ended up getting the Hercules one, and its plenty heavy enough LOL. Its around 70 pounds or so if I recall.

Good Stuff! I've had a Harbor Freight workbench for years now. I use the heck out of it and have changed the vice for a metal woodworking vise.

Hmm, that furniture dolly might be useful for a few items I have in the shop. I forget about them at Harbor Freight. I use the moving blankets when I need to store furniture out in the storage shed, keeps them from getting scratched and gouged. I might look into one of those workbenches....I need a couple actually once I get the shop put together the way I want it...I just don't want to get stuff and clutter up the mess I already have....I'm trying to put a floor in and the more stuff I shove out there the more I gotta move out of the way when I go to work on the floor...weird LOL. Another item at Harbor Freight that works well is the 55 gallon dust collector. I've had mine for years, back when they were around $199 or less oftentimes with the old 20% off coupons. Right now I just have it hooked up to my table saw, but I do have the dust collection hoses and connections to attach to the rest of my tools once the floor is done and I get my tools set where I want them. The 55 gallon Central Machinery Dust Collector has 2 dust collection ports so I can have 2 runs in different directions and install the blast gates at each tool and only open what I need. I think I will install one of the floor dust collector pans too for easy cleanup. Lots of good stuff at Harbor Freight....there's some stuff that ain't so great but some of it also depends on what you use it for and how rough you are with tools. Bauer, and Hercules are pretty good it seems, as well as the accessories.

I buy those dollies just for the wheels. I take them off and mount them on scrap plywood to make larger dollies. They're cheaper than buying just the wheels.

I looked at the HF workbenches but thought the tops were entirely too flimsy.
