Ditto! Just watched and subscribed. Love that you don’t go on and on about yourself and other repetitive stuff. YOU PREPARE. AND companies like woodPECKERS charge ridiculous amounts for their products. I couldn’t comprehend why it should cost so much, now I know it doesn’t have to, and I can afford some gadgets that would be helpful without feeling ripped off and angry. Thank you very much. Woodworking is expensive enough.
@BitnerBuilt10 ай бұрын

This is a great video. The picture quality is far better than most and everything is easy to see due to the positioning of the camera. I found the content was very interesting, even though I wouldn’t use many of the tools reviewed. But I did watch it to the end because the presentation was done so well and its an interesting topic - things to look out for when buying such tools And thank you for not using music or trying to be a comedian. 10 out of 10 for this one. I already have the small 3D square and the countersink that I bought direct from China. I actually use the 3D square quite a bit as it works well to scribe a perpendicular measurement to an edge that I can use to line up on the crosscut or panel sled. The countersink works well and does a nice job making a clean countersink on laminate. It does clog up a little from time to time, but worth the $37 difference from the pro tool. Never had a problem with a snapped bit. Thanks for the other reviews.

Simple solutions to 2 of the tools. First one, the dowel centring jig. Scrap the bearings, they are only complicating the tool, simple friction pegs. Secondly, the 3d square, much like the overlooked scribe on a sliding combination square, the peg could simply thread into a dead space on the tool. Hope this helps. 👍🏼

Just a suggestion on the self-centering dowel jig: always rotate it the direction the drill spins and you'll have less, or zero, movement. Those tend to move more if you're trying force it against the spin because the bit will grab it some and fight against you, so let the bit help by grabbing it into the same direction (rotate clockwise on the wood).

Yeah, I didn’t want to make it the going make video, you know, since those things were sent to me. Yes, definitely thumbs up, all three squares. When I did set up at the table saw came out perfectly square and flat. I always set those up using the miter slot on the table saw so you can make sure that you’re perfectly square over the long distance, before you torque down the assembly screws.
