Final fantasy 10 is my favorite game ever. As many times as I've played through it I've never even attempted to play 1000 rounds of blitzball or dodge hundreds of lightning bolts. Some games just ask too much of you no matter how much you enjoy them.

Completely agree on the FFXIV (PS5) trophy list. The amount of time you have to invest to earn the platinum is crazy. Playing through the story alone already takes a long time. Then you have to level a crafter and gatherer, play through the raids (normal difficulty) and the alliance raids, etc... Getting the collectables and fates trophies was the worst part of earning the platinum. The only way I was able to do it without going insane was to push me to do a bit of the grind every day for about 2 months: - 100 crafting collectables - 140 gathering collectables (one full inventory) - 30-40 Fates as Blue Mage - 10 instanced dungeons (already had most of the required 2000 through farming the extreme mounts and did the ifrit trial unsynced a few times per day) I am slowly working on getting closer to the 100% completion and can't recommend it to anyone unless they really love FFXIV and are willing to spend hundreds of hours in the game. The amount of things you have to do and the amount of time all of it takes is just insane. Im currently at 163 out of 176 trophies but some of the remaining trophies will be difficult to earn: - 2 Savage trophies for the Pandaemonium raids (will get easier over time with better gear) - 1 Savage trophy for the current raid (working on it with my FC) - All 3 criterion dungeons (just need 3 other people to learn and complete them) - All 3 deep dungeons solo + 1 trophy for reaching floor 100 in EO (these are the trophies I am scared of the most) - Catching 1460 unique fish (slowly getting there. I'm already at 1041) - Defeating 30 S rank hunts in Dawntrail areas (need to keep an eye on the hunt discords to get the last few I need) - Obtaining 423 triple triad cards (I'm at 421 cards and I'm only missing the tournament cards and the one from the 423 card achievement. I'll get it when they add new cards for the next patch) While I have spent well over 2000 hours in the game and had frustrating moments working on some of the trophies (especially fates and collectables) I still love this game and had a lot of fun on my journey. Some of the trophies have even gotten me to interact with content I might not have tried otherwise (Triple Triad, Eureka/Bozja, Deep Dungeons, Fishing etc...). The only content I haven't tried out is trying to beat one of the ultimate raids. I don't know if I'll ever play one even if they decide to add trophies for them.

I gave up on FF VII Rebirth platinum. Johnny doesn't need a 7 star pad anyways lol

I was so dedicated on getting the Rebirth trophy, but by far the biggest challenge was Chadley’s challenges godamn it made me a new man, didnt know I had it in me😂 my first playtrough clocked out on 150/160hrs. Platinum rounded out on 330hrs😅

I'm SO glad I'm not alone in thinking that FF7 Rebirth is laden down by too many minigames and having SO much game content locked behind doing those games.

Crisis Core Reunion is insane. Hard mode Minerva is a monster and the RNG mechanic means you can spend literal weeks waiting for the DMW to appear.

I’m currently going for the Plat in Crisis Core now and it’s an absolute slog, not hard by any means but it’s extremely tedious. You don’t have to beat Minerva on hard mode for any trophies but the DMW Master trophy is horrific. I only have that and the Genji Equipment Trophy left but I have 75% on Sephiroth, 6 mastered Octaslash materias and have left my game on for 5 hours and still no progression. I’ll be here for a while I think 😭

So I lost my old account when I had to do some time and lost all my platinums, I been out 3 and a half years and have almost all the platinums I had on my old profile but a few that I’m dreading one is FF14 which I had back in 2017 and now I am about to start it again now that I have every FF platinum and spin off besides Dissidia and the 13s because they don’t have it for PS5 yet. Anyways if your down I’m down to grind out dissidia on the side as I do 14 again

Such a great vid and couldnt agree more, i have the dissidia plat and thats the worst one for me personally. And the FFXIV trophies are just never ending 😅. Rebirth was a pain with the brutal challenges. Another honorable mention for me would be stranger of paradise 😊

I didn't struggle with SoP TOO much, but it certainly was a grind nearer the end! Having the DLC did help, I must admit!

9:07, ahh the classic Steiner over leveling spot! And you get the Blood Sword for insurance by that point too! Just hearing that part alone brought good memories, not the jump rope part though I would have to cheat for that. Sadly I haven’t played too many FF games on systems with a trophy system, I think the closest I ever got to Platinum-ing anything was Tekken 5, but there’s some ridiculous robot boss that stopped me short.
