having an avoidant partner is so hard, i was secure when we started dating, and i became anxious with all the avoidance, stonewalling, silence treatment. So much that i doubthed my own judgement and feelings, when i addresed things... he ask me to just get over it to "drop it". I could not, he ignored all my approaches, that lead me to force a hard conversation on him, and then he ended things. But that honestly was the best outcome, i could not continue like that, i dont wanna to constanty worry about my wording of if its a good day to just talk about things to not get punished with no talking for a week. It is so hurtfull and i truely hope he heals for himself. But i cannot deal with this in my life, im very sensivite and i have alot of love to give. He ask me for peace, yet he never gave me peace of mind or clarity with his behaivor. What i know for sure is, if he cared as much as me, he would have try to work on it. He didnt and that is ok, that is nothing i want in my life anyway - the avoidance, it solve nothing, it only create bigger issues in the long run

You probably triggered his insecurities on many levels and he was clearly not ready to be with someone that secured. I'm glad you're out of this, you deserve a much better man

I'm a woman who just had an "uncomfortable conversation" with my boyfriend whom I want to spend the rest of my life with. What you said is so true, mature, and allows for both parties to grow. I learnt a lot from this. Thank you, Chief.

13:35 This is an interesting point where you say that relationships help you overcome or improve on the ways that you were raised, something like a do over for your children, you having experienced something negative or unfulfilling in the past.

Any advice on standing out and truly being able to lock in a relationship?
@PremiumUserUltra4 ай бұрын
I don't know if he has actually had a overall or just being with one person committed. Never seen his gf/wife. He also focuses on on the masculine mind instead of understanding the way his gf/wife thinks, like actually thinks. There is no "locking in" anymore, I can guarantee there is opportunity everywhere. Truly locking in is only using social media professionally, for all in the relationship.
