These are all great ideas. But you know what? All those ingredients are expensive. Eating healthy includes a lot of expensive foods. I didn't realize how expensive until I was forced to be on a very strict budget. I always wondered why some people who were poor were over weight. In my ignorance I thought they just didn't make good choices. Now i understand why they (I) would choose a $2 bag of moderately healthy snack to a $5 bag of avocados. Not only for price but for waste when you are unable to get to a store for fresh things more frequently.
@ckmckay76365 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately you might pay for it later, with your health 😞

That’s so true. I wish I had the choice between meds, food , and housing. But many of us just have to make decisions that get us from day to day.
@kassie57795 жыл бұрын
To be fair, most people don't need 4-5+ types of fruits and veggies per week. Meat doesn't have to be grass fed, carbs can be rice instead of quinoa, etc. Anything that is a step closer to being healthy is progress.

Yummo!! Thank you. Also I hope you are starting to feel better 💞💐 I recently (1 year ago) experienced burn out after having my second child. It really snuck up on me! One day I just couldn't even talk ..I was completely empty. These days I try to do lots of self care and recognise when I need to stop! I am a big believer in a slow calm simple lifestyle. Things are alot better now. But it us a constant shift of balance. So, thinking of you and sending love. X

Thank you so much for your review of the lunch boxes, but even more for the recipes. Two months ago, for a variety of reasons, I went from being a carnivore to being vegan with an emphasis toward raw vegan. That's said, I needed to learn a lot more recipes that are specific to the vegan diet. Being a handyman is my specialty, however food creativity isn't one of my specialties and I lack and experience of making meals, however, in watching your simple recipes I'm quite excited to try them out. Thank you for expanding your video into not being just a lunch box review but also a lunch making review, lol. I appreciate it.

One thing I noticed about between American cooking videos and korean/japanese cooking videos is that Americans talk a lot before and in between making the foods where the others just start making the food immediately. I'm not complaining I just think its funny 😄 😆

All those healthy meals look delicious. However, I have a honest question about them: don’t you get hungry just eating those salads? Or should I understand that your greater meal, with carbs and proteins, comes in the evening? Here in Spain our lunch is the heavier meal. Thank you 🙏

I recently bought this bento box, everything it’s advertised to be is true EXCEPT for the fact that it’s hard to open the white lids... like my thumb is red from trying to forcefully open it. In the video the white lids are already slightly opened when she opens them.... (and yes I know how to open it by lifting the silicone thing).
