WOW! I especially loved the juxtaposition at the 22:37 mark, of the framed decoupage paper, matching the paper on the light switch plate…with the black wrought iron keys and hangar, sandwiched in between! It’s absolutely beautiful!!

My grandfather who sold antiques lived in a very old apartment in Old Havana. One of the things he had was a beautiful chandelier hanging in the foyer. It was magical when the light of the sun hit it. The colors of the rainbow flowed on the walls.

I wanted to thank you for ALL the Knowledge and Experience you have shared. It's given me the courage to transform my desk that I got from a neighbor for free that sat out in the elements for over 2 years. This is a solid oak piece that I see the beauty in. I got the chalk paint, decoupage paper, and have to still get the brushes. The inspiration you've give will forage me on!!! Have a GREAT DAY!!!

I love your ‘faux line’ technique !! And the rule of THREE is brilliant! I have to tell you that back in the 90’s I had done the decoupage light covers! I used old wallpaper books that I got from my locally owned paint/wallpaper shop!!! The golden color you are covering is one of the colors I chose for my basement makeover that I have yet to start! I love it on those walls you have…. Nice!

Hi there! Your painting techniques are very nice! I recently painted my interior with alight grey on the bottom of the chair rail and soft white on the top and ceilings.I always do my cut work first( corners, trims etc.) You’re right! The angle brushes work so well!! It’s so hard especially when you are doing an older home , like yourself. Wow, you have a lot to do, and it’s turning out Beautiful! So, totally worth the effort for sure! Thanks for all your wonderful ideas, tips and tricks! I love your videos and watch them over and over again! Thank you so much!🌺🌲

Hi Christina, I absolutely love watching you transform your new home. I love how you raise and "straighten" the borders. How brilliant! This might have been answered last week, but in your next home transformation, when you use chalk paint on the border of any room, would you share with us what you use to seal the chalk paint with? I understand that chalk paint is easily reactivated with water even when it is dry. So, i assume that you seal all your chalk borders in your rooms, entryway, staircase, etc. Love your other projects. As always love to see your pets. It makes your videos more fun to watch. And, I think it's cool of you to give us "previews" through the week. I look forward to seeing them. I have become your true follower, making sure to watch your new video every Saturday. Yay! I also love how your face looks, serene, peaceful, and childlike when you are painting. Hope you know that you are beautiful! Because you are. (When i was young and Beautiful, only 2 people ever said that i was beautiful. I forgot their comments and always thought of myself as not pretty. So, now, whenever I have a chance, i tell others that they are beautiful, when i believe that they are beautiful. And, you are beautiful. So, that's me giving you an honest to goodness compliment!). Thank you

Gorgeous proyects. Decoupaging the switch plates has been a fantastic idea. Look so bold. I used to do mine with washi tape but decoupaging it's on very hight level. You should go out of your comfort zone often. Navy blue piece is beautiful. I was thinking you would do some light dry brushing on green too. You have a great way interpreting the colour. I don't know if it's just on camera , it has a velvety feeling. Beautiful to look at. Thank you Cristina.

For the mirror you can tape some regular paper together place in frame use you finger nail trace around the mirror then cut that out for a template. You can cut out a piece of poster board and apply the decorative paper on to that then just glue that on to the mirror. By doing this method you don't get any wrinkles and very little work.
