To add to setting a deadline. It doesnt have to be like an ultimatum but a mental deadline for yourself. You have already told this person what you require, they did not forget. One thing I noticed is people break up for the same exact reasons they get together. They will see all the red flags from day one and ignore it. Then a year or two and even couple kids down the line, the red flags come up and they blame the other person for it. Reality of the situation they knew the red flags were there but them ignored it because of their lust or their habbit of wanting to change people

The list of tips to avoid doesn't end here. But those are some strong starting points. Most people who date are not in a content place within themselves to even be bothered with someone in their lives romantically, but the selfishness and loneliness inside of them would entertain you and take you along for the ride right along with them. How am I supposed to submit to a man that can't even lead himself? The Bible says, He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord. Proverbs 18:22. Things are in Gods timing not in our own. Why should I be so desperate looking for love in ALL the wrong places when I am the prize. Number five is the most important to me because I have done the works within myself; therefore whatever a man comes to the table with is appreciated opposed to being dependant upon. I had to FIRST become the virtuous woman that God wants me to be, before demonstrating any of those characteristics for a man. New year, New abundance and proclaim all of Gods promises 2021 is our year. Blessings to all.

#5 My 3 year relationships I walked away in April 2020, best decision made. I decided to take the celibacy route and pray and heal from it all before even looking in the direction of dating again. I’m somewhat traumatized to be honest so for now it’s just me n my healing process. Whoever supposed to be in my life will be.

Ready to go into 2021 with less of a focus on relationships, and more of a focus on walking the path God would like for me follow. If that involves connecting with a man, great. If not, that's cool too. I've gotten to a place in my life where I genuinely feel valuable and worthy, and really only want to involve myself with a man who doesn't give me the impression that they feel I am another number with potential. One who genuinely sees the value and worth within me as well. May God grant us all the love of our lives, and shower His blessings upon us now and forever more 🙏🏾❤️🙏🏾

TIP: Does he consider what it may cost you in any situation? Not necessarily financially. Kendrick Lamar has a verse in the song, "Stars". The lyric says, "Corrupt a man's heart with a gift to show you what you're dealing with." Some people/guys see your kindness as a weakness. Can you be kind or sharing without that person taking advantage of you? Can you do kind things for him without him going too far and seeing you as a shill? This means he respects and cares for you if he reciprocates equally or above. He anticipates that you want to be showered and spoiled too.

Actually I don’t agree with a point of yours: you say that it doesn’t take much to decide if you want to get married to someone. I’ll tell you that if it’s too early, let’s say five or six months, you don’t really KNOW the other person and you run the risk of getting married too hastily. Of all the people I know who decided to get married too soon, none ended up happy; they all got a divorce. I’m not saying that it never happens, but I think it’s the exception, not the rule. You need at least a year or so.
@MsPrincessaj3 жыл бұрын
I think it can also depend on the maturity of the individuals involved, and whether or not they have the ability to see what needs to be seen with the other, acknowledge “red flags”, and adhere to the other points Stephan made. Often times, in my experience, people are focused on the attachment to the other person, the feel good feelings that come with it, as well as having companionship, as opposed to stepping back, assessing, analyzing, and being objective about who the person is, what they have shown you about themselves, and the reality of the relationship. I have seen people who have dated for a year or longer, and end up in an abusive marriage. I believe that many of us, because of childhood wounds, trauma, and conditioning, are ill equipped to be objective, and do the required work in relationships, and look at ourselves and the healing work we need to do as individuals.

People may hide their true selves, pretending to be something or someone else. Always listen to your gut feeling and don’t let your emotions take over. You need to look objectively and assess the person. Always remember that your relationship is a long-term commitment with a huge ripple effect on your life. Do not waste your time with the person who is just playing games - never really looking to commit. Most of the time, you may only know. The choices we all make could affect the trajectory of our lives. Do not ignore all the warning ⚠️ signs.
