I seen a quote that said "Don't pray for love. Pray that you'll be ready for love when it introduces itself to you. Pray that you'll recognize it. Pray that it lasts." And I love that esp the first part...because a lot of times we pray for God to send us someone when in reality some of us are not even ready to even receive that love, because we have things within ourselves we have to work on. I've prayed to God to heal the parts of me that need healing even the parts I don't even recognize need healing, and that's real. I've also learned one of the biggest parts of healing is forgiving...you can move on to someone else, but if you haven't forgave people in your past you will not fully be at peace within yourself. Having the ability to be (genuinely) vulnerable with someone is really important and I think is really a good way to identify if someone is truly for you..someone who really wants to take the time to understand your love language as well...I really hope to find that.

Never communicated what was really on his mind, turns out he was judging me (and extremely unfairly all along) and even when he realised all of tag he still didn't want me back. Its been an intense pain like I have never experienced before from a breakup. He was toxic and emotionally immature, said a million stupid things and was seriously manipulating, and absolutely refused to compromise on anything at all, which is the the reason he ended it because he didn't feel he should have to compromise, despite seeing how much I was comprising for him, me looking for solutions to our differences and him dead set on there simply being no differences, as if that can ever be the case when two people come together! Yet 4 years later I still miss him and I still feel terribly down and alone and scared. Never experienced a connection like it before or since.

I was like that and I definitely had to trace patterns and they led me to my childhood. Looking for my father’s love he was hot and cold at times. In and out my life but still in the house (weird right). Me trying to figure out what I did what I was doing wrong all the time. Sitting in my room saying I must be a bad child but wasn’t it was him. I did that in most my relationships till I got with men that wanted me and would do anything to keep me. I felt safe but never grew to love them. Then I worked on me. Healed that past hurt. I don’t have to push, pull, or pry a man to stay from fear. Let go of the need to know everything and stay out your head. Actions speak louder than words

So true. I was thinking about a particular guy while watching TV and I wanted God to give me a sign, so I ask Him to show me a commercial that relates to marriage, proposal, or engagement 💍. In less than 5 minutes, a Nissan Commercial appeared showing a runaway bride leaving her groom at the alter and taking off with the Nissan. At first, I misinterpreted the commercial as God saying yes to me pursuing this guy because the commercialinvolved a wedding, but as I dissect God's response even further, I realized that He was telling me to run away from the situation and not put any more thought into pursuing this guy. Although I felt a little disappointed, I thank God for protecting me from future heartache. I'm thankful. 🙏🏾

I am not sure about finishing each other’s sentences, having the same birthday, and having the same exact taste in music, as I feel like my parents were soulmates and they didn’t necessarily share all the same tastes nor did they finish each other’s sentences or share a birthday. But I think the ease, peace, and overwhelming feeling of security are better measurements. That doesn’t mean that they didn’t ha e tumultuous moments but those were rare; I can count on one hand how many times they actually argued. They were married for 50 years until they each passed away in 2017-2018.

For me I felt my soul mate showed up after I concentrated on healing and it was an answer to everything I needed. He shared my values, had the level of personal responsibility, was interested in many of the things I was interested in and we could talk about everything and anything and laugh together. He describes faith differently but has a strong faith. He is so focused and pays attention. A strong desire to help him in life overall that wasn't present with other people I've dated.

I can relate to this. I met a woman that worked at my local bank and initially she caught my eye (the weird part is i never imagined having sex with her). She did something to me spiritually. I can't describe it in words but she had a beautiful auro of self love. I always deposited my money outside in the bank drive thru but i wanted to start going in just because she was inside. We did have a conversation and i felt the connection was God made honestly. I never seen her again after only talking to her 3 times which broke my heart i wish i would've asked for her number but i was trying to be professional with her in her workplace. I asked her co worker where she was after not seeing her the very next time...i glanced around the room and at her desk and i didnt see anything on it. I asked where she was her coworker informed me she had got another job out of the state. I honestly felt like God gave her to me. She left a mark on me to this day and that was 4 years ago in the beginning of May. I've met plenty of people and general and women and...she still stands out of ALL the women I've met with no competition. So when Stephan speaks about spiritual glow that is important. A lot of women today are seeking validation outwardly and by the way they dress but I'm just not interested in most of them because i can see right through that . Physical part fades. I honestly still try to find her to this day not like all the time but whenever i think about it I'll still try to find her. If I ever hit the lottery or get worldwide exposure I will pay the world to find her for me. $75,000 for anyone who finds her online or in person. I wish she could come enjoy this life with me

Prayer is how we talk to God, the Bible is how God talks to us, as a result I would caution anyone when asking God to speak to their heart on important life issues to ensure that biblical principals firmly confirm what you believe the Lord is showing you. I'm also going to buck the trend and say that I am of the mindset that God can take any two people who want to be together and bless their relationship, so long as they are authentically committed to the Lord and to cultivating a union that's rooted in Godly principals. The idea that you only have one soulmate doesn't seem practical considering all it would take is one person to marry someone who is not their soulmate to throw everyone else out of alignment.

Second time I told myself the same thing, she was the one, with a new girl, but there werent red flags. I thought I made it and I was good, but it ended after rushing from the last breakup. A lot of times as a woman we're going to miss our soulmate. Some of us are so broken & damaged from past relationships that we probably would not recognize when God sends us our soulmate. I think before we can even ask for a soulmate let God heal us spiritually, mentally, our whole being. Then the 🔑 of finding a soulmate is put God as the foundation in everything. Women it states "when a man findeth a wife he shall obtain favor of God" meaning stop looking & picking just a random guy. A soulmate would have that chemistry, connection, one who can love all of your flaws. That person who is your best friend, lover, protector. A man of God, who knows how to cover his woman/family, that will build her up speaking affirmations, not tearing her down because she opens up about her past. This goes beyond just that physical attraction I can go further, but I think I said enough. This is actually helping me....whew Jesus.

Great advice. I think time is also a true test. Everyone acts great at the beginning but the right man exhibits consistent love, unlike a player. Plus time will reveal red flags that we have to be willing to face so we don’t fall for Mr. Wrong. On the flipside, what if you get a "Yes" and you're like that's a No from me. So, I guess this can go both ways. In the end have to be ready is what it comes down to. If you got fear in your heart then you aren't ready. Until you come to a place of no Fear, then Love can't be Perfect. Perfect Love Cast out All Fear. So, to me until your there, don't move forward, instead work on yourself and heal. Definitely don't jump into a relationship or marriage rather than work on yourself, insecurities and that fear. Put the cart before the horse and find you don't feel good enough or end up pretending to be someone you're NOT because you're afraid to Just Be Yourself and people won't accept You for Who You are. Ummm yeah ask me how I know. Take time to get yo know you, discover more about you, accept and live yourself before you're ready to give away a Love YOU don't even have for yourself. You have to be happy with You before you're Ready to Love another and give yourself to another Wholeheartedly without Fear. Best to Work on You, Heal and Love Yourself first to be made Ready for Love and Ready to Love. ✨️
