Suggestions: 1 - One episode about the economics of cruises (Hassan Minhaj did a great episode about that in his netflix show - Patriot Act) - They get away with a lot of shit by flagging their ships as panamenian and hiring phillipinos as crew and by being essecially in international waters 2 - Already commented that one in another video, but since I dont expect you to come back to older videos just to look at comments, I will suggest it again: How nintendo basically created the playstation brand that now got a large chunk of the market, making nintendo focus on inovations on playability insted of hardware power.
@Remianen
@Remianen 4 жыл бұрын
1 - It's not just Panama. Right now, the country of convenience is the Bahamas. You also have Liberia, Vanuatu, Malta, and Cyprus. And they hire filipinos (and people from South Asian and Eastern European countries) because of the pay scale (Americans generally wouldn't accept those wages) and their desired service focus (we aren't known as the best when it comes to providing service). It would be cool to see Simon tackle the subject though.

I thought jelly, jam, and preserves are all different. Jelly is just like gelatinous fruit spread, jam is the same but more congealed-ish, less spreadable. Preserves is jelly with actual pieces of fruit in it (instead of just juice)
@patrickobrien5311
@patrickobrien5311 3 жыл бұрын
upon searching the answer: Jelly: Jelly is made with strained fruit juice. There are no pieces of fruit in jelly. Jam: Jam is made with mashed fruit. Preserves: Preserves have whole fruit or large pieces of fruit.

@@averygibson3280 In jelly, the fruit comes in the form of fruit juice. Jelly has the smoothest consistency and is usually clear. In jam, the fruit comes in the form of fruit pulp or crushed fruit. This makes jam less stiff than jelly. In preserves, the fruit comes in the form of chunks in a gel or syrup. Preserves will have more fruit in them than jam will. Marmalade is a type of preserve with citrus fruits in it.
