Reaving Blows from the blue CP tree stacks with Ring of the Pale Order for extra heals. Strategic Reserve from the red CP tree makes you nearly unkillable if you hold 500 ult. Can also combine with Stage 3 Vamp to counteract health regen penalty. Obviously using Ults is important for the bosses, but if time to kill isn't factored into the leaderboards than Strategic Reserve might be a very strong option.

On a level 3 orc dragon knight running 2pc druid braid , 5 pc adept rider and 5 pc heartland conqueror and using those champion points i was able to get to the replicant , I had to fight selene , ice heart, nazzaray and some blue hell kitty . So I had to kite Alot but all my heals came from that champion point basically

I’ve been having good results as a solo Arcanist using a mix of Deadly, Ironblood, Pale Order & Pirate Skeleton. Made it to 5.3.3 so far, with better luck with verses & visions I think I could get further. High resource recovery a must too.

Something else I've noticed about the Iron Atronach transformation is that dropping the meteor also gives you an insane amount of Ultimate per second. I was able to use War Horn 3 times during a stage's final add encounter 😳

Very helpful and concise information, thank you so much Skinny! The way you can combine verses/visions and tweak your build for a given stage is my favourite thing in the archive, and I think it also helps with making repeated runs less boring. One thing I noticed is that although some of the offensive verses that have a synergy component (the fire orbs, the skeever, and the postulent globs in particular) can be strong, their synergy animations are a bit clanky, and in later arcs during trash stages when there's a lot of incoming damage and things going on, activating them can be very risky (sadly speaking from experience :D).

Holy shit I had no idea the Avatar transformations had an auto-res on their synergy, I've only got them on solo runs. That's extremely good to know for when I do more duo runs.

I know every class uses about the same sets currently, but maybe taking a look at different class specific setups would still be interesting? (hoping for nightblade here!) #1 tip to go far in the archive: be lucky and don't have Gothmau spawn as a marauder :) This guy absolutely shreds even just in Act 2 and 3

I've beat Gothmau solo in 2 a couple of times and duo in 3 once; I'm not super good. It's just that he's a bit of an idiot and spins off in random directions, giving you a breather. Hilkarax is the only one I haven't beat yet, I think it's the one with all the whirlpools?

One random tip whenever I get the chance with the proper visions is not overlooking the benefit or Resolute Mind (restore health, stam and mag when you break free and increased CC immunity). With even just 2 of them stacked I get a massive return on all my resources and a very potent heal from any enemy that would stun me, generally enough to refund the entire break free cost and more plus avoiding getting comboed right after a stun and the recovery animation can at times save your life as I feel some of my stages were cutting it really close whenever I got CC'd without it. At least getting a good balance of how many, probably 2-3 is enough to make it turn the table on those stun users.

I run heartland conq and ice furnace on my ice warden and it absolutely destroys when you get focused efforts. I was at 2000% dmg and was just 1 tapping shit in like arc 6-7. I gave the build to my friend and went on my arc tank and we got to 9-1-2 and then the server reset lol. We still had 2 lives. He was only at 1000% also. We could have done better.

I stopped using vamp stage 3 because the 30% isn't flat it scales on how much health you have missing. I was taking waaay to much fire damage when I was at full health because of that.

Ran it with 2 of my PvE tanks.. It feels like I'd have to build specifically for the archive as a normal tank doesn't have the damage needed for the higher arc trash mobs. Also ran it with my pet sorc dps and his pets just kept dying and even at Arc 3 he was just too squishy to survive.

Hey I have a quick question, those permanent account upgrades at the end: do they share with a partner even if the partner doesn’t have it unlocked? I know us both having the extra thread will bring us to 5 lives but if I buy the one that makes it so I have 3 vision choices, does my partner also get 3 vision choices or just me even if I have the crown?

Skinny, sorry but I got a question! If I want to go DW backbar with my stam necro, do I lose a lot of dmg when compared to maelstrom bow, hail and weapon enchant? Also, let's say I do go, what would be the best enchants & traits for the backbar weapons (daggers btw?) for cloak to procc? Rather complex question, but I really hope you can answer.

damage is similar, usually only very slightly less with dual wield backbar. but yes you'll run cloak then have both daggers infused. wpn dmg enchant on one and poison or flame on the other (whichever isn't on your front bar)

For the Enchantment vision, I was using this last night and the tooltip for the enchant was increasing. I didn't notice if my Weapon and Spell Damage were actually increasing or not but is that a visual bug?

Had done a lot of testing around with the Attuned Enchantments vision and sadly it does not boost Oblivion Damage enchant. 3 stacks of that vision would have enabled a completely broken mechanic if using it on something like Elemental Blockade. What I have found to be extremely useful however is using either a Weakening enchant or Hardening enchant on an Infused ice staff. You can tremendously weaken the adds in higher Arcs with the first one and if you go with the second one, you can easily have a damage shield over 20k.

What do you gain from going far? I went like arc 4 and quit I was getting trash stuff that I don’t need. It wasn’t worth the time. The bosses were ok. Pretty easy to beat, up to wear I was. I have so much other shit I actually need to farm. It’s ok for people that have done everything and they are just bored. You don’t get anything that I know of that makes it worth playing hours and hours.

The currency you get increases for each arc increase. So you start earning it really fast when you push higher. Plus it just is a challenge to see how far you can go.

What I would like to know is how do you get those damn ghostlights in time to the dude in the middle in the later versions? Seems like if I go too fast they'll return to their original position and if I go too slow I run out of time.

I use the RP (slow) walk and just tap shift a few times inbetween.

Woah so arc 10 enemies still have 9100 resistance and the thoat only has 18200? Multiple different people have told me that it keeps scaling up until even the trash is 32k+, must be some sort of rumour going around.

Warden is pretty good. I got Inkslayer using my HA warden. It has many strong self-heal and you can let status effects do all the damage.

Lol someone has to much salt intake for the day!!! The resistance info was helpful as I would had thought each arc you would need to raise you pen a little till you reach pass a point you have to pen cap every round. But that is not the case and you only need to do at for the tho round. Most of us were over pen with our late arc builds.
