First person souls is awesome - I use it alongside convergence right now, but I've used it with reforged a number of times too. Deflecting Malenia in first person feels badass as hell, or simply being able to walk backwards/left and right whilst mid chain feels really good. I haven't tried it on controller, as I personally play KB+M, but my friend (who does), that I was seamless cooping the convergence with seemed to enjoy it

I actually play like a hybrid with left hand controller and right mouse. I have a lot of binds set to wheel, side buttons etc. Just found it to be most comfortable

If both mods use a regulation.bin you'll have to do some manual merging (which I'm not experienced in) but for most mods it can be done. Others like Convergence and big overhauls don't merge well because they change so many files

I played a ton of Convergence on DS3 so when I found out about that Convergence was then made for Elden Ring I wanted to finish getting all the achievements before I installed it I'm loving Convergence more than ever now that I can play it on either DS3 or Elden Ring

@@SnugglytheCrowDS1 The only thing the dev could do would be the players movements, thats all. The player could do the slashing then the controllers inputs would be the ash of war/incantations/items/walking and viewing angle like other VRRPG. I mean, Skyrim already did it. 🙏🤣

Can the first and last mods be combined together? What is the process for this? I'm a complete newbie in this modding stuff!

I haven't tested them together but they may combine so long as they've altered different parameters. That being said each are standalone weapons so if they do combine they won't inherit any of the others properties. Like cosmic lotus blades won't get the parry from the heaven splitter. As for merging them you'll have to follow a tutorial on merging regulation bins, cleverraptor has a tutorial on his nexus page. But once that is done you'll place both mods and the merged regulation bin in your modengine2 mod folder

Can you go into the files at all and lower the damage of weapons? Or would I just have to go to NG+7 to keep the modded weapons from breaking the game?

If you have the modding know how I'm pretty sure you can edit all of that, but I usually just limit stats and upgrades

i finally got elden ring :3 was a big big souls fan since demons souls but somehow lost the track. wanted to get convergence mod to work, is it possible without um , downgrading to a specific patch by now ?

A lot of mods are needing down patched because of the Dlc. I would highly recommend playing vanilla ER before modded and by then Convergence will likely not need down patched. But as far as I know you just have to be patient for the mod team to get everything updated

Syyyykes and convergence will probably give the most trouble others should work fine with some merging
