Right out the gate, I like that this mod does something interesting with Mohg being the body Miquella's consort's soul is housed in: Radahn would have felt a lot less like a rehash if he had more than one goddamned Bloodflame attack and incorporated it more into his attacks like Malenia does here. Likewise, fighting Malenia as she should have been, without the Scarlet Rot eating away at her mind and body, is really satisfying and I like how it characterizes Miquella as well. Even after stripping himself of his love, compassion, and everything else that made him human, his genuine love for his twin and desire to rid her of the condition that ruined her life still persists in spite of everything else. And honestly, if they had to rehash a boss from the base game to serve as Miquella's consort, Malenia makes more sense due to having that strong connection with Miquella from the get-go. Whether or not you believe Radahn was a hasty replacement for a potential Godwyn revival, there's no denying that he was awkwardly shoehorned into Miquella's backstory.

Sadly the obsession Miquella has for Radahn and his perfect world of compassion canonically even surpassed his genuine love for his sister. He promised to return and cure her with his plan but ultimately like everything Miquella does.. he abandoned her at the base of his tree to either and rot away. Shame Malenia stayed loyal to her sibling and twin till her very death apologizing to him that she couldn’t fight for him any longer as she finally had met her match. Of course it’s a loosened in the plot as it’s implied you kill her off screen in her boss fight anyway and by this point Miquella is just another tally on your death count

I missed the Scarlet Rot, imagine the Goddess of Rot using a body capable of withstanding the destruction of her body, what power would she have? Besides, if the intention was to show her with her entire body, there was no need for the potresis that she only started using after losing her arm due to the Rot. The fact that Radahn sometimes uses blood magic in her movements is just a sign that the body there belongs to someone else and that this body carries memories of a soul that was discarded, imagine the combination of Rot and Blood attacks? As for the part where she starts using sacred attacks, it is probably due to Miquella's influence, as is the case with Radahn.

In the lore, it is massively different. Miquella and Marika are both based on the Rebis. The structure of the order is a female God, and her male King. And it isn't so much about their sex as it is the role they choose. Miquella has chosen the female role. If you play a female Tarnished, you can still choose the male role. But Malenia doesn't fit that criteria, being an Empyrean vessel herself. The difference here that breaks the lore isn't who he marries, it's about the role they keep.

Personally the huge contrast betweem the background and the flashy blood attacks makes my eyes sore a bit and some attacks seems to be barely readable because of this, but is fine. Idk if real Sekiro moveset combines very well though, she seems to chain combo over and over when even again not giving you a breath sometimes, Cell. A shame I can´t say how she is gameplay wise because I refuse to give a cent or install something related to this mod.

There are several reasons. First, it's a paywalled mod, which is illegal and violating ToS. Second, it's just copying and pasting stuff from other FromSoftware games. Third, GoE is a complete PoS, and has been for over a decade. Almost certainly the worst part of the entire modding community, if not the Elden Ring community as a whole.

Ok, so I need to get this out of the way... Even though it's a mod, Consort Malenia is Far more superior and a Big upgrade to consort Radahn! XD New cutscenes, original boss music for both phases, and taking the hardest boss in the base game and cranking the wtf factor All the way up! I would love to have a harsh bossfight as the real final last boss. So I would really love to see 1. More damage coming from this boss, since the critical hit after getting parried did like a small hit of radahn and the same goes with most of the other hits (although I dont know how your lvl is in comparison with the boss/ng+) 2. Give this boss more poise, so you cant interrupt her startup frames of moves with your big sword. Make it more like a poise boss since this is supposed to be a GOD 3. Remove the backstab. I feel like when I would face this boss, I would think at first glance that not learning the moveset proberly but just runaway until she gets close and I can backstab her would be the most ideal strategy, which I personally dont really like. 4. the problem with malenia is not that she is his sister but the fact that she is an empyrean therefore a creature that can become a goddess directly and being cursed/blessed with the presence of the goddess of rot and being miquella unable to exorcise the goddess from the body and soul of his sister if he had used her as a receptacle for his ascension he would have thrown himself into the hands of the goddess probably giving life to a version of the ring in the hands of the goddess of rot and so well, his intent to drive away the gods and free the world would have been useless

Not bad! The boss parrying and performing somersaults is cool. But I feel like the damage was quite low and many of the moves were designed to catch out incorrect roll direction. So to avoid the bigger hit one could simply guard the initial and the second would just miss on its own. I also wonder at how well this boss responds to projectiles as it tends to put distance between the player and not always follow with a ranged attack or a fast follow up. Gave plenty of time to cast healing so a sorcerer might be able to shredd this fight. But overall well animated and the quite cinematic! I think I'd enjoy fighting this boss.
