From all I’ve seen from you videos. You guys are awesome. I’ve been painting since the 80’s and it great to see that there are painters that still care about the jobs they do. Keep up the great work. Thanks Dave in Canada

Just ordered the ladder leveler to paint my around/on top of my stairway which includes ceilings. Without this, I was trying to figure out a safe way to use my little big ladder. No matter what I envisioned, it came up short for different parts of the stair well. This is going to be a life saver literally. A 69 year old lady here needed to feel more secure on the ladder. The stairwell is the only place in our home that presented a dangerous challenge if not done right. I virtually cannot wait to get this!

Way back in the late '50's, we were working on our house(I was helping my parents). When we were painting I had thought of "why not run the paint into the brush or roller to make it easier?" Now I see someone actually did it. I am 72 now.

The ladder leveler pivit tool has been the best purchase I've made as a painter that wasn't an airless or a hand masker. On my second one in 18 years. Every painter I know calls them the "Wedge". The hand masker is a must have for any painter regardless of your application method. The hand masker will pay for itself time and time again. As a solo painter I own multiple of these and will most likely buy more.... eventually.

Pivot boot is amazing, I have two & the possibilities are endless. I pair them with the adjustable planks by Werner & can set up a comfortable work base in almost any situation, & for the rare occasion I’m not completely convinced of safety I simply add the yellow stop for guaranteed security & all situations are covered. I paint, install siding & run a metal brake so I’m constantly on roofs working exteriors. Love the videos Paint Life!! ~Trent from Ohio~

I have checked everywhere (including your website) and The Roof Boot is out of inventory and no one in the US is carrying this item today! It is either so good that everyone is using it based on your suggestions or it is made in China and there is a tariff on this product. I hope it is just back ordered.

Pivit great tool, alittle tip for Yas ,when painting over steps and you have the one or two hard to reach spots, if you don't have a pivit with you ,if not to high flip a step ladder upside down fits perfectly on a step lean against wall. Just to get that one or two spots quickly, the upside down step ladder tip.

We use those masking guns all the time for paper and plastic but can be a pain if working in the cold cuz tape don't stick and we always take that hook off and stick the handle in our pocket its much sturdier. And we use the pivot but the rubber gets worn down but the take a lot of punishment

Thanks guys very useful information. I think your video's are great. I have a question I am just about to buy a house here in the Netherlands and will like to use an airless sprayer for walls ceilings and trim and doors. Titan only have 110v machines and are very expensive here. We use 220volt. I was thinking about the Wagner HEA control pro 350r which I can get here. Greco are also expensive. When do you decide whether to spray or use a roller when looking a job and what are your reasons for choosing one over the other. Thank you.

That Roof Boot thing is risky. Putting screw holes in the customer's roof. I am a roofer and a painter. And can guaranteed that that is a bad idea. I find leaks all the time around chimneys and dormers where similar products have been the cause. People have been doing the same thing with regular roof jacks for years as long as osha wasn't looking. The risk is not worth the reward unless you really know what you are found patching roof holes.

I just bought a little giant "style" ladder for use around my house due to all the slopes and stairs. There's not much "level ground" in Western Washington. Anyway I have never seen anything like that ladder leveler before, but now I'm thinking there should be an adjustable leveler of this sort for use on all sloping surfaces. That thing is useful for anyone in ANY construction trade as well, not just painting. I'm really surprised that I have never seen anything like that before. The other tools look very cool too.

Hey guys. I'm from next door in Tacoma, WA. Those Pivit tools are awesome! Wish we would have had those the 17 years I painted full time. But I just wanted to let you know a couple of my favorites. They would definitely be the ladder leg levelers. The ones with round feet that you adjust with your foot. We had them on almost every extension ladder we had. And other would be the brush magnet. The ones that clip on the side of your cutting pot. Magnet and hook are just automatic. Oh yeah, I almost forgot about the Spring Nail Punch. I was almost primarily interior trim on huge customs year round, so those always came in handy. And here's a bonus I discovered a couple years ago, the spring loaded Center Punches from Harbor Freight also double as quick nail punches. Anyway keep it up, its kinda nice to watch videos about the stuff I remember all TOO well...

I prefer ladder jacks over that pivot step. More solid and infinitely adjustable and far easier and safer. As for the power roller while your setting it up and then cleaning after I can roll all the walls in an average bedroom with less effort a good extension pole (lighter weight) using a5 grain bucket and grid and using better quality matched to the texture roller covers which I either save in plastic or throw away no cleaning needed.

The scrapers news for me. Never seen it, so thanks for the heads up, can't wait to try it. The roof boot however will never happen. I can appreciate the safety factor, but I can't get past the potential responsibility of damage. Florida rain storms are just to frequent and intense, while the extreme heat and sun can break down any patch work quickly. Even if it is just a few or even a single screw hole. Lol, did I see it's placed through the top of the shingle in the video???

You also must use a platform ladder to work off of. You can not use a regular ladder to work from unless you maintain 3 points of contact. Really you are required to have scaffold for for working but who can afford to pay for scaffold and who can charge the customer a crap load to set up. It's insane the laws now.

I don’t think I could be paid to use polyester or woven rollers… polyester rollers have a super long recoat time (not always so with high density knit), and also leave a horrible texture, and wovens just get so beaten down and don’t hold any paint. Use an Ultra Finish, and you’ll never go back ;)
