1st Tiny House: Don’t overthink the covering for the round window because for the most part you won’t want to cover it at all. Perhaps a couple of half circles of foam core boards or lightweight corrugated plastic sewn between some fabric that you can put into the window at night. Then you could push it in place at night with the center seam vertical, it should stay put. Then you could rotate it so the seam is horizontal if you want to fold it down to unblock the upper half of the window. Just leave it folded and flat to store it on your bed when the bed is in the up position. Just a thought. _Edit: sorry, I just saw how old this post is, it just came into my recommendations today._ 🤷♀️

The 3rd Murphy bed, crikey it's got a serious downward slope. A few glasses of wine and you'd roll out. The 1st one is awesome. We've seen the whole tour and it's a beautiful tiny home.

I like the first design -- it is rail free which enables me to use it in a room where the bed won't stretch from wall to wall.

Great concept for a video. The first tiny home with the elevator bed was one of my favorites that you have shown. You could keep doing videos showcasing certain features from the many tiny homes you have toured.

Could you maybe share a drawing of your non electrical setup for the elevator bed?

The one with the white inside with the lady and guy was very nice but think it would take a chunk out of pocket. The one the guy made with everyday things was nice, lord a pipe for a hinge what an idea and so cost effective.

I've got a tiny apartment and a giant 43" screen (for work). I'd like to put it on a desk in a cupboard with a similar system. Any tips?

Alfa Won #2 bed is Project 2000 (which was bought out by Lippert Components). Over-cab bed lift systems.

@@gjbowens13 Ok thanks. Do you have any direct contacts at all btw ?
@gjbowens134 жыл бұрын
Alfa Won No, I just googled the name they spoke on the channel & that’s what came up. Did you try that to see if there is a website and/or email to contact someone? I’m thinking it may be pricey & wouldn’t work for my build.

What do you call the chain whole things that lifts and pulls down the bed?
@paulortiz20353 жыл бұрын
I would call that chain assembly .....'NOISEY'!!! IF YOU WERE sleepy before lowering that bed you wouldn't be once you did lower it! It's really, really loud!!!

Looks cozy, but do people actually enjoy living like this?
@Spazza425 жыл бұрын
tunaXonXtoast Life is about fulfilment, not comfort. People take on a minimalist attitude and adjust to a lifestyle like this because of what it offers not what it takes away....
@daynarenee98304 жыл бұрын
Actually, that looks quite comfortable. It's really not as bad as people think. Theres a lot of freedom in living in a van or a tiny house. I think people think they need more space than they actually need. But i also think it's not for everyone.
