It's got the 18 inch rims and I'm only on my 2nd set of tires and it's got 86000 kms on it. It is AWD and the tires wear pretty even. Just love our Fusion. I agree. As gas prices go higher and higher I think the crossover craze is going to end. People will want another sedan with good MPG. Ford isnt even going to make a Focus for god sake!! I bought a 2012 Focus for my daughter and that thing would get 40mpg. Try that in a crossover!! So yea I think its a big mistake to stop all sedan production. I disagree if they bring back the fusion it'll be because of public demand and not over gas prices. The SUV that Ford makes Eco,Escape,Edge,Explorer,Expedition all come with 4cyl eco boast engines and 6cyl EcoBoost and the gas milage are quite comparable to the sedans some actually over lap, like Escape and Fusions are almost identical ,the lower end Escapes have better mileage then a platinum and sport fusion.I own a Fusion Sport and it is by far the best car I've ever owned ,so much fun to drive,Metalic Grey,Dark tinted out windows,I blacked out all the chrome including the grille and removed all the Ford badging and I get asked all the time what is that car your drive,I've even had people take pictures of my car and that's never happened with previous vehicles including previous fusions.Im thinking they are making a mistake but how can I argue with the quite frankly pioneers at least in the technology part of the auto industry, they have technology in their vehicles 4-5 yrs before anyone else.

Idk why the hell anyone would pay $1,000-$1,200 every 30,000 miles to put new tires on a mid-grade, American made sedan. If those name brand tires are only lasting 30,000 miles, you either do not know how to drive, or you have severe alignment issues. Any good, name brand tire should be warrantied to at least 50,000-70,000 miles, and probably last way longer than that. My wife has a 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium that had the original Goodyear Eagle RS-A 235/45R18 94 V Tire s, and they lasted 115,000 miles until we replaced them, with the same tires, and it cost about $500 for all four, with mounting, balancing, aligning, and free rotations for the life of the tires. Whoever you are going to for tires is loving making a killing off of you.

In 2021, I Purchased a 2015 Ford Fusion SE 1.5L engine with 141000 miles on it for $4000 at a dealers auction. Major fix was to have the airbags replaced and a few other repairs with total cost of $2000. Overall, it appears previous owners took fantastic care of the vehicle. Body is flawless and the shine like a new car. Transmission is great and changes seamlessly. The engine runs smoothly and I consider my purchase a steal. I service my car regularly at every 5,000 miles coz I use it for deliveries. Have put 20,000 miles on it since I started using it. Just last week had a problem with some whining sound from the serpentine belt area and it happened to be the water pump going bad. Had it replaced as well as the timing belt, serpentine belt, pulleys and tensioners. Cost for that @ $1100 parts and labor. Car running like new again. Now, I'm assured of at least another 60,000 miles of smooth, comfortable, fuel-saving driving on those changed components. I get about 29 highway driving miles/gallon. Resale value now is @ $12,000 that I'm being offered. BUT, There's nothing I would trade my Ford Fusion for.

I gotta 14 FFH and it’s awesome; gets pretty good mpg, goes faster than a prius, and it’s just fun to be stealthy in EV mode... However I did notice the tires went bad pretty quick, now I use Pirelli P4 All Season Plus (consumer reports said these tires lasted over 100,000+ miles on their test vehicle). Also inflating your tires to max pressure (or a little below it) will help decrease the rolling resistance and should help squeeze more miles out of the tires, but the trade off is comfort... Also the lug nuts and oil drain plug are not very high quality and I had to replace them with durable ones.

I rented a 2019 Fusion Titanium FWD this September. Did 2500mls with it on all sorts of road and track. Here's what I think coming from a European perspective: What I liked: +suspensions (they're amazing, confortable & dynamic, and I really pushed them both on and off road) +engine (loads of torque, quiet, smooth, 30+ mpg, nice stop&start system, turbo-lag is small and it's not sensitive to altitude, I ran 91-93 fuel) +look (especially for a model that's getting older, it looks great) +interior space +equipment level (autopilot is nice) +air con (I never had to touch the temperature and I never felt any discomfort from the vent blowing at my face like on many cars, tested it from freezing to really hot) +quiet and easy to drive at a high cruise speed even on bad roads (my driving style is smooth but fast and the car was great for it) What I didn't like: -the 19" wheel and Conti tires while the suspension take care of the larger bump, you feel all the small ones way too much, grip and feeling is inadequate, but I'm used to summer tires so that's maybe normal on All Seasons) -no front parking assist -the seat didn't support me very well I had back pain (that's really a bummer, and I tried a lot of different setting during those 2500mls) -the headlights (I had the full LED and they're just like most american headlights, pretty rubbish) Overall I liked the car. And driving a car for 2500mls, you get to know it well. I drove in city, on highway, in traffic, on open roads, on dirt roads, on sand roads blasting through the desert... The car did great and I always looked back while walking away after parking it :) PS: i almost forgot: sedans drives and rides so much better than Crossover/SUV's !

I just bought my first set of Milestars, so far so good, ride well and handle well, a hell of a lot better than the Uniroyals I just took off. They actually have a warranty which is unusual on an 18in low profile tire. The Goodyears that it came with new were absolute rubbish, got less than 20,000 miles and had no warranty.

I replaced the 19" Michelins that only lasted about 20k miles on my wife's '13 Taurus SEL AWD with a set of General Altimax tires. They're grippy as hell, quiet, have worn MUCH better than the Michelins, and cost much less. 19" lower-profile wheels don't have to drain your wallet. Just don't buy the softest compound tires on the market and they'll last longer. For those of you that live up in snow country, sorry...

I've got a 13 se and I agree the trunk feels light and weak. I love the naturally aspirated 2.5 getting 32+ mpg combined easily. But the hood doesn't bounce or wiggle on the highway. My mother's 17 rav4 hoob moves like the bolts we're taken out. I do love the car. Fusion has taken my heart a bit.

I used to have a 2014 Ford Mondeo Estate Titanium (UK version of your Fusion). Mine was a diesel manual and I had above 120,000 miles on my car when I got rid of it. It was comfortable on long drives, I like the Sync system and mood lighting. Huge boot was decent and over 50mpg. The main thing I disliked was the car felt roly poly around the bends.

The only thing about the 2020 Fusion that we’re not crazy about is the new gear shift that Ford came out with. Instead of a stick to shift the gears of the automatic transmission, it’s a rotary dial, so in order to shift gears you need to turn the dial. It’s been a really difficult thing to get used to and truthfully we’re still not used to it. But that’s the only negative about the car overall.

Didn't click on this video at first because I thought it would be just more Ford bashing (there's enough of that out there), but then I watched your "5 Things I Love" video. Your car is sweet, and I'm glad you love yours as well. We love our Fusion. As for the tire thing, I'm surprised the 19" equipped cars have this problem. We have an SE with 18" wheels and had to replace ours at 25,000 miles. I assumed that meant the tire design was junk, but now this has me thinking it might have something to do with the car itself. It's interesting. Regarding #3 and the prestige of the Titanium, don't worry. I'm jealous of your Titanium-only taillights. haha

I just bought a 2014 Ford Fusion S with 6.5k miles for 15k!! I am pretty happy about the deal, it is like buying a brand new car haha.
@nicwarren24546 жыл бұрын
The trunk lid feels cheaper than that of most others because from the bottom of the taillights down and behind the licenses plate is plastic so if you get rear ended they don’t have to replace the whole truck lid. They only have to replace the plastic part that got damaged. It may seem a little cheaper but when you get rear ended it will save some money over other brands. I love my Fusion and I’m happy that a brand like that is willing to try to help with cost.

I have a 2020 Ford Fusion Titanium Eco Boost, for about almost 3 years now, and I still personally never had to replaced any of my tires at all, it all depends how much you drive and how much care you take within your cars, don't drive stupid, your car won't react to stupid, overall, with that being said, I personally never had no problems with my Fusion at all, still drive it day by day and no issues, can't really give it a bad rep at all.

Your wrong about tires. I have the titanium and I have no problems with going through tires. Clearly your driving more rough. I love the touchless buttons.. the truck lid is light and good. The hood is fine unless you want a 100lbs hood.. if you put it in S for sport you have full control it wont shift for you.. if you leave it in D drive mode it'll switch automatically

Rob, I think you did a good job. I appreciate this as I am about to purchase a used 2015 Fusion - was extremely impressed when I drove it. This has helped me as everything you brought up was pretty inconsequential for a long time owner = I think that was your point. And the fact you still love it says tons. I have to admit, these cars are a bit of a secret as when I started to look, the Fusion was not on my radar. It was only when I checked out some client sat surveys that it pops, and then driving one shows you how well they drive and are built. I'm coming from a Cadillac CTS = I found the Fusion extremely comfortable and very luxurious. And very sharp looking too. Thanks for the review. And make a point of not saying the statement shared by others below :-) = meant only as a kind correction.

I have the exact same color and trim level Fusion as you bro! I love it! It’s definitely the best car I’ve owned so far. It’s been super reliable and enjoyable to drive. I’m sad that Ford decided to discontinue their sedans. They finally got a really good competitive midsize sedan. Well, if it comes to it, the Ford Edge would be a nice step up since it’s based on the same architecture as the Fusion

I drive a 2014 Titanium that I bought CPO with 23k miles in 2015. It now has 166k miles on it. First non-European car I've owned. No major issues, drives like new. Quiet, comfortable, fantastic HVAC--the A/C will freeze your bones on the hottest day, well designed remote starter with automatic sensors for ambient temp--a terrific feature. Having worked in pro audio for most of my life, I can honestly say the Sony sound system in this car is the best automotive system I've heard. Punchy low end with none of that Bose sloppy hyped bass. No need to mess with the equalizer, it sounds fantastic set at flat. Good on gas, fun to drive, the paint looks like it just came off the showroom. I could afford a new car, but I don't want to part with this one.

The one thing I hate about my 2015 Ford Fusion Hybrid SE is the fact that I have to remove the bumper to replace the headlights... I decided to replace the stock halogen bulbs with brighter LEDs and it made a world of difference, but I didn't realize all the crazy work that I had to do just to get to the bulbs. Thank goodness it's not something you have to do very often. Other than that, I love my Fusion and plan to get a used one when this one gets longer in the tooth. The mileage is great, and the vehicle has all the bells and whistles that I need. Couldn't ask for a better vehicle.

I have the same model and year. Same color too (interior is lighter). Overall, I love it, but one thing that's really annoying me is vibrations at highways speeds. It's worse on certain roads. An alignment didn't help, and a new set of tires helped a little.

With that said, at the end of the day my 2016 Titanium comes with actual buttons for the climate controls below the MFT screen so the 15's are the last of the non-button HVAC panel. Put it in S mode for more control over the transmission. There's a book in the glove box called the owners manual. I suggest to read it to find out all the features of your car and how they work. And why do people block out their license plates. At the end of the day it public knowledge and anyone can get it while your driving. BTW - the hood is made of aluminum with that said at the end of the day it is flimsy.

The tires and wheels look cool that's it. I purchased a SUV out of the showroom that came with the low profile tires with 20 inch wheels. It was my first and last. The problem is the tire is not very high. If you hit something on the road like the edge of a plate where road work is going on, the tire can compress to the wheel edge. Now you have a blown $250.00 tire and a bent $800.00 dollar wheel. Happened to me, I was driving at 25 MPH in a work zone posted 40 MPH. SUV was a 2010 Mercedes , 350 GLK. I traded it in 4 years later with 26,000 miles on it and the tires were down to the safety warning bars. Tires were rotated every 6,000 miles, alignment was perfect. Not recommended but to each his own.

"why does my dads fusion say titanium on the ass and not SE?" "he was insecure about himself son let it go" Why the fuck does anyone care about who's more middle class than the next middle-class bloke? More importantly, for how long do you need to stay in the mid-middle-class tax bracket before you care so much about what other people think to the point that you think anyone ACTUALLY cares about whether or not you could afford to finance out an extra 10-12,000$ to get a fully-loaded Ford Fusion of all things.
