I will definitely visit all 5 islands ! The idea of a one day trip is really appealing for me since I will be studying during the week and only have the weekends available and free.

Tiffany, thank you for yet another great video presentation. So very informative and detailed. It’s so interesting that so many segments of the different islands didn’t show people in the view. I hope you’re having a fabulous Summer.

You’re welcome! Some islands I visited in a less busy season and I try not to film to many people for privacy reasons if possible. Good summer. I hope yours is too.

Hey there! The 5 islands that you mentioned belong to the group of the Argo-Saronic islands named after the Saronic (Attica) and the Argolic (Pelopennese) gulfs. Very informative vid by the way. Me telling you this as a Greek :)

Yes, I know the name of the island chain but thanks!

Hi are there any beaches close to Athens that are easy to take a ferry to where you can snorkel if you have your own snorkel gear?
@agirlandherpassport2 ай бұрын
Any of these you could go to for snorkeling but the snorkeling isn't great here. There isn't much to see.

Probably a silly question but if one is traveling solo to one of these islands, is it safe to leave your belongings while going into the water for a swim? I will be doing some of these day trips and wondering if I need to worry about leaving my bag on the beach or the rocks while swimming. Thanks!

I have never had an issue with leaving my things when alone. I would keep an eye out but wouldn’t worry too much.

Also a good idea is not to carry really expensive things like golden jewelry watch and staff like that...

It’s not easy to get to though if you don’t have a car.

Spetses may not allow cars but quadbikes and scooters are allowed make it just as noisy as anywhere else: for peace and quiet it has to be Hydra…
@agirlandherpassport4 ай бұрын
It wasn’t noisy to me. I loved not having the cars in town.
@shetlandsheep30814 ай бұрын
@@agirlandherpassport I think I’m just prob quite sensitive more to that high rev noise over quiet background than to constant lower pitched car noise…it was just that the video implied it was traffic free but its only car free: didnt want someone to get there expecting no traffic at all like Hydra is; glad you enjoyed Spetses!
@despinakyraleos22344 ай бұрын
Yes I found the motorbikes on Spetses very noisy, and kind of dangerous. We had to get out of the way.
@agirlandherpassport4 ай бұрын
That is a good point! I think because I live in Athens, they didn't bother me much.
