This video dropped at the perfect time. Journaling always helps when I’m having symptoms but am not in a place where I can scream into the void or go into full-on meltdown mode. I love the strategize/q&a idea! Thank you for the ideas.

Glad you found it helpful! My journal has basically become my friend with whom I can confide and not worry about getting judged. It's been great while getting older and not getting that interaction with friends as much too.

Anxiety was what got me into journaling. I never thought much about it until my counselor told me to try it. Now, I have been journaling for 10 years and for many reasons, even beyond anxiety.

It's really interesting how a simple suggestion like journaling can have such a powerful impact on our lives.

Im glad you have found ways to help your health anxiety. It hits home. My sister has dealt with it terribly. She wouldnt journal like I suggested. But even she started to feel the truth that shes okay, much of the time. Like you said she knew it intellectually but it was just an idea. It took a decade but shes gone from a 10 to maybe a 5 or 6 in intensity. Much of it is medication. They prescribe serotonin candy and it helps but is followed by a depletion of serotonin and perhaps a dopamine spike which leads to an endless loop of taking more meds. The way out imo is through your symptoms.

Yeah it's rough for sure. I guess the first time I had any issues was in 2019. It still lingers from time to time, but so much more manageable now. I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Any type of anxiety for that matter.

My distant friend, you're doing great, keep shooting videos on similar topics. You are good at explaining quite complex things in a simple and accessible way. Well, personal experience is generally invaluable! Like it!

Thank you for sharing. I like the idea of “thoughts to paper”. It gives me a clear understanding of it. I’ve been told to journal for this reason but never really got why I was doing it, I just kind of did it haha.

It can be easy to just do it without thinking, so glad you're starting to understand the "why"!

Thank you for sharing these ideas. I like the Q&A one. Most of the times my mind is running so wild I can't even deal. At least with this method I can take some time to slow things down and think a about the questions.
