5 kayaking sections of the Cuyahoga River

Where can you kayak along the Cuyahoga River? Most of the 80+ miles are navigable for paddling. The Cuyahoga River Water Trail maps out 5 sections of river, each with its own unique scenery and features.
The Scenic Section is from the source of the river near Burton to Kent.
The Heritage Section is from Kent to Cuyahoga Falls.
The Gorge Section is in Cuyahoga Falls.
The Cuyahoga Valley Section is from Cuyahoga Falls to Independence and includes Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
The Burning River Section is from Independence to downtown Cleveland, where the river meets Lake Erie.

I used to regularly kayak from the locks to the dams. I would easily remove 100lbs in plastic each time and never made a dent. Each time I came back. There was more. Eventually I gave up. We suck people. Islands of plastic in the national park. So sad. Be careful there is also a raw untreated sewage overflow waterfall just north of akron valley in the river. A ton of diseases and needles.
