Question, if they take out one of the 3 combo cards those get exiled right do to the finality counter from winter? So you can only do this as long as they don’t remove one of those 3 twice

But doesnt the permanents reanimated with winter’s effect give them a finality counter (Permanents with a finality counter are exiled if they are sent to the graveyard) so there isnt a lot of use with the permanents you get back if your opponents wanna just board wipe or remove them right???

Yes you’ll get 1 extra use out of each creature or permanent so that way it’s not broken

Yes, this is why GSIron said in the vid that you wait to start reanimating with Winter after the board has been wiped or game has been reset. That's when you can push for advantage and take control of the game

First upgrade should be Thief of Blood. Remove the finality counters and turn them into +1/+1's

Does Open the Graves really work as a replacement for Overseer of the damned? I only ask this because on Open the Graves it says it specifically triggers when a nontoken creature you control dies so doesnt that mean the infinite doesnt work??

It’s not infinite but if you have creatures to sacrifice inside a deck where you can get creatures back it can be devastating

So you get board wiped and cast Vile Mutilator assuming you're sacrificing an enchantment seeing how the board was just wiped. And you seem to be forgetting finality counters.

Yes and Yes I never mentioned finality counters because I believed it went without saying as I mentioned how Winter’s ability functioned in the beginning of the video, thanks for reminding the new players in the comments crumbs
