You are assuming a bar makes that much difference? Weights weight.. I doubt the bars going to help that much.
@earningmywings61454 жыл бұрын
@@Scootermagoo it indeed does. Especially for the heavier guys. The initial higher flex of a deadlift bar, lets them get into a more efficient starting position, where the Belly is a bit less in their way. That makes it easier to brake the floor, which defos is harder with a stiff bar. Again tho, not taking anything away from Daniel. 👍

Larry Wheels did not break the record but equalled it. Also, comparing Daniel Bell's result to Ray Williams is a bit of a stretch. Bell lifted in a federation which has monolift in squat (and squat depth rule is not as strict as in IPF), and deadlift with a flexible bar.
@holliswilliams84262 жыл бұрын
I don't think Larry broke any record, you can't see if the squat is deep enough (he tends to do high squats) and on the bench he drops the bar onto his body and then bounces it and throws it back up with the momentum.
@dennisruud8252 жыл бұрын
@@holliswilliams8426 tf u on about
@chrisplante89772 жыл бұрын
@@holliswilliams8426 you do understand how bench works in comp right? You can't simply bring it down quickly to bounce it and use that momentum. You are instructed to start the lift, you then lower it to your sternum and wait for the press command, and then lock out and wait for the rack command. If you press or rack the weight before instructed then the lift doesn't count. The event is literally set up to prevent anyone from gaining an advantage of bouncing the weight.
