That’s all modern day stuff. That’s not all time. How about the guy who won the ipf world championship in 75, 76, and 77 and the last one he broke 3 ribs on a 699 lb squat but still won the 242lb class with that swat a 545 bench and a 710 deadlift that should be a top 5 all time great performance

I want to know what judge turned down that squat it was perfect I'm referring to Jesus Oliveira's squat. 1 judge gave it a red light it look like total bulshit to me. That squat was perfect.

At most sumo reduces the range of motion by a inch or two for most lifters don’t speak about things you don’t know

Sumo would only be unfair if not everyone was allowed to do it, so you are just yapping

If ROM made everything easier I would be able to bench more by gripping the plates. This is not how biomechanics work. Sumo moves the hips closer to the bar but reduces the raw force output. It's also far harder off the ground than conventional.
