Great list, great video…as usual!! I’ve had Dopamine Nation for a while, barely cracked the spine on it, time to get reading! CBT is helping me a lot, just ordered the Coddled Mind book. Your channel, Crappy Childhood Fairy, Therapy in a Nutshell, and a few others have been very, very helpful in healing my past trauma and helping me get to a healthier place. Keep up the good work, we need this!! 🙌

I must share my enthusiasm about the book ‘Waves of Wealth: Riding Financial Tides’! This remarkable e-book provides incredible insights and practical strategies that have truly changed my perspective on financial management. The author not only clarifies complex concepts but also brings them closer to everyday life, making them easily applicable. Through it, I learned how to seize various financial opportunities and adapt to market changes. This is a book I would recommend to anyone, regardless of their experience in finance. It’s definitely worth the investment of time and money as it will help you achieve financial freedom and reach your goals. Don’t miss the chance to surf the waves of wealth with this book!

I’ve started getting the samples and reading them. If it engages me then I feel better about buying it. If I never read it then I know it probably was just a fleeting desire. I have a giant collection on my Kindle of samples that I’ve never read … it’s telling. And to be clear, I read 100+ books a year. 😊

I’ve also been reading Untethered Soul at least once a year. Currently working through The Greatest Salesman in the World by Og Mandino which was recommended by Matthew McConaughey- it will take you 10 months if you actually follow it. I’m halfway through month one. Highly recommend.

Great stuff!! I am so interested in books, or anything, that challenges what I think and The Coddling of The American Mind is right up my alley. I have The Untethered Soul which is amazing and I also highly recommend it. Michael A. Singer wrote a follow-up to that book called, Living Untethered - Beyond the Human Predicament and a work book to go with it.. Although I haven't read it yet as I am reading Paul Selig's books now, but it is next on my list. Thanks again for some great suggestions!!

Both of the examples from The Expectation Effect are way off. I've been a complete zombie and out of it based on lack of sleep a zillion times. Never complained about it or dwelled on it, was just a zombie. Also, the basketball players going the warm up are re-calibrating their brain to judge distance better (nothing to do with "expecting" or not).

I want to mention that Zi find it hard to listen to your voice. I think you taught yourself to talk deeper by forcing through your lower throat area instead of your voice box. To me , it sounds fake. So maybe you don’t feel confident in your true sound. So, maybe I’m wrong. Or maybe you, too, can learn one thing that might attract even more listeners. I still love your content.
