also unorganized stuff cant go to something organized, like dead material cant go to alive material without anyone intervening. imagine a messy room would go to clean without anyone cleaning it

The amount of times you explain something that does not support a god, but twist it into supporting god, is impressive.

Objective morality doesn’t point to a higher power? An uncaused cause isn’t God? The order and design of the e universe is just by chance?

I find it more impressive how you atheists will twist anything to not believe in God

@@KdnfollowsChrist 1. " Cosmological argument". Who made god? It's a common argument, but does get swept away with "because it is", with no real explanation. Infinity is a paradox nobody has been able to accurately resolve. If god is timeless, then think of a point before anything in the bible happened. There was a point before that, and one before that, and one 20 quadrillion years before that, as god has always existed. Ignoring the fact that this is an unresolvable paradox, what was god doing for this time? While atheism isn't explained any easier, god is only your conclusion because it is the outcome you have already decided you want. The beginning of time is not something that can be satisfied by either argument, so why do you default to it must be god? This is why I am atheist, I don't know what this means, this uncaused cause is still unresolved. The belief that any god exists because of this, isn't necessarily unreasonable, but the conclusion that your god specifically exists is not even remotely supported by this argument. 2. "Life is perfectly balanced". It is, for this life. If any of these variables were to change, life as we know it would change, but there would still be the ability for life in other conditions. Even then, there are estimated to be at least 800 billion planets. It goes without saying that if that estimate is true, then the spectrum of conditions for life to be possible would exist somewhere, like earth. Again the point I mentioned earlier. If god exists, it would look like this. If god doesn't exist, it would look like this. You have reached god in your conclusion as that is the conclusion you want. Furthermore, all of this would only point to a god, your god is arbitrary in this argument. 3. "It's all so complex". You even mentioned focusing, why would the need to focus on different distances exist if god created us, what would the purpose be? Similarly, did you know that if your own body will destroy your eyes if given the chance. That's how a lot of people lose their vision, their own body attacks their eyes. That sounds both completely illogical to deliberately design, and a flaw in this intricate system. I don't see the point with the watch analogy, it's a strawman argument. I'm not gonna spend time coming up with an amazing analogy, so he's a bad one that uses the exact same level of logic as you just used. I saw a video uploaded by PewDiePie. So this video isn't uploaded by kdn since KZbin videos are made by PewDiePie. Okay, so humans made a watch, which is complex. This doesn't by itself negate the possibility of something complex being made by something else. And it's not massively advanced. Everything is all built from a very select amount of building blocks. 4. "No objective morality". Immorality doesn't exist, but once again I fail to see how this means god is real. I say something is immoral because we have evolved intelligent thought. There is no objective morality that says don't m****r and r**e people. I say those things are immoral because I have empathy and compassion to others. Morality itself is a human construct. We say m****r is immoral because we know the impact it has on others, and believe that it is undeniably immoral, regardless of objectiveness. Why can't it be true that objective morality doesn't exist, but we can mentally create rules that we deem fair? Explain how that just can't be. 5. "Like a messy bed". Most of what is said can be summed up in my first point. But you say that life is such a complex thing that is so amazing that a creator can be the only logical conclusion thing, but you then compare it to something as simple as an untidy room being tidied. I don't think you are deliberately making such obvious strawman arguments, but that is what you are doing. People think "you have a point, an untidy room won't magically clean itself, therefore this person is correct", even though that fact being right is irrelevant, it doesn't actually relate to the bigger picture. You even admit here that even to you, this happening is plausible, yet claim that I will "twist anything to not believe in god". I am not saying you are wrong, and that I am right. I am saying that all of this is so unknown, unprovable, and justifiable from so many ways, that your conclusion that it makes god, and your god specifically, real, is not a reasonable conclusion to reach. 6. "Love is more than a chemical reaction". 3 billion years of evolution is a long time to develop stuff. With an atheist point of view, the existence of any animal is to breed and survive. It does not benefit us from that point of view to experience joy, anger, embarrassment, or any other emotion as strongly as it would benefit us to care about people. We exist to not die out, and to care for one another and assist in the effort of survival makes perfect sense. Once again, it makes sense if god exists, and it makes sense if god doesn't exist. Therefore, I don't know, and a logical default to take is atheism as that pretty much says "I don't know, so I'll assume it just happened", whereas you are saying god did it, a conviction that I cannot reasonably see justification for. This is so long cos I had fun writing it to be honest. If you want to converse more then I will but I think that raises some very strong arguments.

1: uncaused causer 2: order and design (yes, the fact we're guided minds, is to me a really ready case too lol - I also like to think of it in terms of what we can do, compared to animals - beavers for example - always build dams - we on the other hand, unlike any other animals, can build sure, beneficial things, but we can also create things deadly to our own survival). 3: Objective Morals - yep, right there. Atheists will claim theres no God, but yep, point to a definition, to live by, a definition they themselves didnt create - yet they can call something evil, or cool, great, or perfect - without actually living out the subjective reality that goes along with living like theres no God. (like saying Hitler was objectively wrong - while themselves, being atheists - literally contradictory for them to do that). 4: rational doesnt come from irrational. (kinda works with guided vs guided minds) 5: emotions - I like to connect emotions, to God himself - as in - God is where positive emotions come from - love, hope, faith, etc- negative ones, ofc, are the absence of good. God is timeless, immaterial, and spaceless - and similarly - we as human are capable of loving - despite how far the other person is, how long its been, or how theyve changed - those bonds, and feelings, are evidence of God as well. now Im a writer, so honestly would like your thoughts on my little additions here lol 6: several key factors, also point to the fact we could have a young earth on our hands, also evidence for God - - radiometric dating, a key example - in many cases, when dating a rock sample, they end up with a date that doesnt make sense - scientists will simply look at 'known dates' of surrounding rock layers, and discard any outliers. this is important because, the entire way they date rocks - is flawed. heres a brief explanation - rocks have isotope layers (atomic structure pretty much, of a certain element) - so to find the age of a rock sample - they will 'radiometrically date' the rock, using radiation (scan the rock in an expensive machine) - pretty much every isotope - as it ages, ends up changing from one form, to another - this is called the parent to daughter ratio, of the isotope - so they find the ratio, and look at the isotopes half life - and plug an equation to guess its age. now -reasons why they dont know what the heck theyre doing? they come across a rock sample - not knowing what chemicals, erosions, or other external factors have occured in the area - all they know, is the correct isotope ratio, and the half life of the isotopes involved. its an issue when you look at the outliers - countless times - where they KNEW the age of the rock, and got back radiometric dates that were inaccurate - in the MT Helens case, they used documented 20 year old lava rock, but got back a rate that says it was decaying for over 1.2 million years - over in Hawaii, one of their volcanoes had lava rock known to be 200 years old - and they got back dates for 2 million years of decay as well - meaning - the isotopes, were in their daughter state - much faster, a rate of decay, than possible compared to the isotope half life noted. (to summarize - theyve NEVER run the most basic test - using radiometric machines - to test if environmental factors, affect how the isotopes decay - theyve NEVER done that proper test - but - we KNOW that heat and pressure, reset the isotope clock (the rate of decay resets, as the rock becomes molten) and they know that lava rock for example, has excess argon, that releases when its cooled - so - external factors like erosion, water, chemical changes, heat, pressure, or anything else you can think of - effect how fast isotopes decay, and therefore, it means that they cant find any age, of any rock, because every rock, has its isotopes effected, every day, since forever). - theres also evidence of a total accumulated ocean sediments of 12,ooo years - not millions of years worth of sediment on the ocean floor - and yes, a 6k year old earth fits that, as the flood, and other larger events - doubled the sediment layers. - theres also weakening magnetic fields, still present on moons, like IO, of Jupiter - as well as volcanic activity - when scientists say that those processes shouldve already cooled, and stopped long ago - say, if the universe were billions of years old. - there is also erosion rates- that have somehow managed to leave us all these continents, despite the rate at which they erode every year - if the earth were millions of years old, we wouldnt have continents this large anymore. - and finally, the fact there are around 8 billion people on the planet - if you go backwards at a steady rate, you can reach 2 people - Adam and Eve - perfectly at 6k years ago, as well. 7: NDEs, near death experiences- reveal that something exists beyond death, some have literally experienced hell, others, heaven - even people documented to be blind - experienced colors the same way, others who went thru experienced - and examples that the light itself they saw around them, as alive, which is something echoed in the bible - as well as a 'welcoming crew' who welcomed them in heaven,people they recognized, as well as a first few moments 'recalling' their lives before that. Many cases, as well, where people recalled entire conversations going one, while they were brain dead - seeing a specific sticker on top of the fan in the room they were in, or in one example, where the patient wanted their stuff back, and recalled the drawer a specific nurse put their things in - in another case - a patient who was braindead later recalling their doctors talk about her legs, and poking a needle in her legs - which she shouldnt have even heard (but was when they needed to find a veins, and the doctor recommended going down to the leg to find one). 8: I think it deserves a mention - project stargate, that the CIA LITERALLY did - ESP program, remote viewing, during the cold war - it had a 33% accuracy rate - which is crazy it wasnt zero - thats evidence of like, something - either something evil, demonic, or, maybe spiritual - like the holy spirit helped those who did that with faith? just a guess lol. 9: and yes, the bible itself, and the whole shabang, is amazing proof too - the fact Jesus came, and fulfilled over 300 prophecies, from the Torah - which were written thousands of years before he was born - one was that a close friend would betray the messiah for 30 pieces of silver - another that he would come from an unnoticed/lowly place (Nazareth being where he grew up, so poor, he slept in the same room their animals did), as well as being born in Bethlehem, also, that he would 'come forth from Egypt' - which happened because Joseph had a vision from an angel, at the same time that the king of Rome was wanting to kill the so called miracle child - going so far as - to kill 2 year olds in the surrounding areas, to try getting him - also its own prophecy. there were also many biblical prophecies, like the destruction of Tyre, and the exile of the jewish people, which happened exactly as the bible explained them - even archeological evidence - like the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, even a strange pillar, near where there are 99% pure balls of salt in the ground, where the lady turned back and turned into salt. - theres also the Shroud of Turin, which was dated to be from Jerusalem, 2,000 years ago, an outline of Jesus still visible, from when they draped it over his dead body - blood stains, on the areas where he bled from - they even managed to get the blood tested - and know he died from a literal form of heart attack, based on the chemicals in the blood. - finally, they also had out of society moments - such as, having 2 women be the first to see the empty tomb - at the time, womens testimonies werent valid on their own, if a man didnt see it, it didnt count - so having women - both times - firstly see Lazarus resurrected, as well as firstly see Jesus resurrected - were really not giving them any edge, but gave the idea that they werent seeking approval from their societies at all. 10: even the fact that there are plenty of extra-biblcal texts, Jewish historians at the time, Roman historians, people who hated Jesus, or heard of him in passing, which lends credit that he did exist. over 500 people saw him, spoke to him, learned from him, after he resurrected, and 300 of those 500, died for their belief - to have spoken to him after he died. 11: and finally, its a mention - that most other faiths, adknowledge Jesus spoke only truths, and was sent by God - buddhist, and Hindu leaders acknowledged that - Jewish people, even muslims do. (which denies THEIR faiths - because they say God sent Jesus, and Jesus, said he was the only way to the father). kinda went into biblical stuff, but hey, that counts lol. The final biblical coolness- would ofc be the one two punch- written over a thousand years, over 40 authors, from 4 continents, speaking 3 different languages, across 3 generations of people, one connected story, witn over 60,000 cross references throughout the text - ancient texts like the dead sea scrolls helping prove the message hasnt been altered over time.

Hi, I'm agnostic and I strongly disagree with most of your points and I wanna share my points of view. BTW, I'm not American so my English can be a little wrong lol. 1: I can't say much about this argument because everyone believes in a first uncaused cause. In your case, it's God, in my case, the particles, but for some people it can be other deities or the Universe...so it's not something refutable since this varies a lot, it's very personal and it's not an argument that can only be said by Christians 2: That's just the natural order of things and how they adapt to the earth and if something was different from the beginning, the planets, stars, animals, plants and all the other stuff would evolve differently to adapt to the other circumstances. So yes, we'd freeze if suddenly the Earth went far away from the sun (which won't happen because of adaptability), but if we were far away from the sun since the beginning, we wouldn't have the problem. Now, there's a phrase that I don't like much, but its really valid. Who design the designer? I don't like this question much because it goes to argument 1 and, as I said, it's a question that can be asked to everyone who believes in something. It's not more likely that there's a creator because we don't have proof of God, but we have proof of evolution and we know light, gas and chemical elements, that's why the Big Bang is the most accepted theory. 3: I'm sorry bro, but this is so messed up. Right and wrong doesn't come from the bible, but from our nature as living things. Animals know right and wrong, plants have their rights and wrongs, even chemical reactions have their rights and wrongs. It's not exclusive and thinking we wouldn't be good people if God didn't exist... it can say a lot about a person. Really, if u need a book to tell u that killing someone, stealing, mocking, hurting a people or a society, etc is bad... who would you be without this book? And also, a society adapts (most of the your points can be debunked with adaptability, because that's what's happening now and that is what always happened) so they see what works and say "that's right for us" and see what doesn't work and say "we can't do that or bad things will happen". And people have opinions because that's how intelligent life works and it's normal and ok (if your opinion doesn't hurt other people it's ok). 4: You clearly don't know the Big Bang theory. It wasn't an explosion, but an expansion that its still happening, and it didn't take thousands of years. After the big bang, it took 9 billion years because all the stars had form and die, heavier elements had to be form, gravity had to adjust etc etc. And in the middle of all of these years and years, natural selection favored organisms with better problem-solving abilities and reasoning because these traits increased survival and reproduction (again adaptability). Rationality is a gradual property of complex brains, not something that needed to exist from the start. Also, many systems in nature show how order can arise from chaos without intelligent intervention like snowflakes form intricate patterns from random water vapor particles or galaxies and solar systems arise from random gravitational interactions. What we call "rationality" is a human concept based on logic and patterns we observe. Something appearing "irrational" might simply be a lack of understanding on our part. Another example is quantum mechanics which was completely irrational before but now it can be explained with mathematics. Again, I don't like it, but where did the first rational cause come from? Who created the creator? The logic of the argument itself can lead to an infinite regress. 5: I agree. Love is more than a chemical reaction, so is hate (and Love can die out, it just takes more time). But that doesn't prove God at all. It's just a natural reaction that all living things have. I'm sad it ended because I love talking about that lol. Again, I didn't have the intention to offend anyone. If I did, I apologize.

I dont think you understand any of the arguments especially because you said who created God 😂 as well as everyone knows right for wrong 😂 as well as the big bang not being supported by God that literally shows someone created it. Some people will never have enough evidence to belive

as said, I dont like the question "who created God" because it can be used to try and "debunk" any religion. Not everyone knows right and wrong, but most people do and he said specifically that we'd need God and the Bible to differentiate right and wrong. The Big bang theory and the Bible aren't related in any way, so it doesn't explain God. And no, we don't have enough evidence to believe in God

I never said that we need the Bible to know right and wrong. Even if you’re an atheist I believe you can have good morals because God created us all in his image, so some of us can have decent morals. Just like someone who believes in God can have bad morals.
@marjo.r1e

@KdnfollowsChrist sorry, I might have gotten wrong, but the examples you gave showed (implicitly) that some Christians believe that someone thinking an act is bad or good and being atheist at the same time is not possible without proving the existence of God... that was my interpretation, but if u meant something else, u can tell me cause, like I said, I'm not American, so i could've misunderstood that 🙃
