When eyes that couldn't hide the fact that they were looking at the person they loved most in the world begin to avoid meeting yours. . . when the voice that said your name melodically and affectionately now sounds injured, in pain. . . When running out to the driveway to greet you with a kiss and hug stops and the closest description you can associate to what you came home to is like a wild animal trapped in a cage. . . wanting to escape.. . . Someone cheating does those 5 as a minimum! For me asking if there was someone else resulted in drama, disbelief, disgust, and more deprivation. . . gaslighting, lying, projecting accusations all had me questioning my own mind, but the signs were all there and my gut knew . . .I felt that after being married 20 years we could get past anything, but I knew that feeling wasn't shared when I was served with the divorce. . . I will likely always be in love with the girl I married, but the person she became is not someone I'd have anything to do with, then or now.

If your partner takes a shower when they get back. Check their underwear for you know what. Check clothes for lipstick or perfume. Or torn buttons look for scratch Mark's on the back. Hickey Mark's bruises in the inner thighs arms ect. Check their car for signs of damage or perfume or cologne. This always works hold your partner's hand and at the same time ask them if they are cheating. And if they cannot with a straight face say no without laughing. There most likely cheating. Thank you Courtney for another great video. Agreed. If we wish to love, do so wholeheartedly and purely. If our partner behaves badly, it doesn't give us the excuse to behave the same which will just perpetuate this vicious cycle of distrust, unhappiness, and feeling cheated when we should just be caring for and bringing out the best in one another. It starts from each of us, first. Men and women. I have always believed in karma. If we went into a relationship without trust present, because our partners are cheating on us in whatever manner, then leave. Keep our conscience clear and all will be in place in life, even in the darkest hours. It's how we live with ourselves, that we did the right thing. The person who is really meant for you, will stay, no matter what happens. And that partner will honour and treasure their time with you. It's all they want. You can't go in into one, thinking it will only be smooth-sailing and filled with happiness unlimited. Sometimes it just happens that you become suspicious and lose trust to your SO while actually there was some misunderstanding, lack of communication or just bad luck. Communication is the key and you must always tell whats bothering you, what you noticed about your SO and so on. You will know for sure if something is up if you hold conversations, communicate a lot but same mistakes that bother you happen over and over again. Just never hold something bad in yourself because your SO isn't aware of it and you start making up ugly scenes in your head unnecessarily, which makes all your suspicions even worse.

Being cheated on is a horrible feeling. What I've learnt from being cheated on is that it's not necessarily your fault; but no matter devastating and demeaning it was at that time, the positive steps and the willingness to improve and recognise the red flags will make you the better person in the long run. Something that you said in your last Q & A where you spoke about that time you were cheated on, really resonated me. You said that you know what you have to give and offer, and you know who you are. To me that was a perfect encapsulation of the kind of confidence and honestly that people should tell themselves more often.
