I love watching how you do the eyes for hooded eyes because your right when you say “ get out of the hood” that’s me so I watch all your videos because you do have blue eyes sometimes and green but I write down the eyeshadow and you are great with eyes but at 60 now I have always loved eyeshadow’s but my eyes don’t look like yours you have great eyes and so pretty. Love your videos on eyeshadow I’m also on Retin-A which is peeling and flaking so I’m trying Paula’s choice BHT Exfoliate toner. Helps some. Thanks again Jocelyn. I struggle with difference of placement of brightener and illuminator

Hey Rhonda! Your brightener highlight goes more towards the center of your face to awaken your look (under eyes, center of forehead, down the center of your nose and a little on your chin). It is like your concealer. Illuminator attracts light and brings the best glow...so place your illuminator on the high points of your face (cheek bones, cupids bow, end of nose). It can also make a great shimmery eye shadow.

For your #1 tip...What are the best transition colors in Maskcara’s eyeshadows? I have several of Maskcara’s shadows but just can’t seem to be able to hone in on a good transition color. I want a really natural eye, not too made up looking. Noticeable but soft and I do wear glasses 85% of the time. So 🤷🏼‍♀️, help, lol.

Hey Julie! I would definitely recommend an eyeshadow primer to help avoid creasing. You will also want to pay attention to how much product you are putting on. Too much will show texture and increase your chances of creasing. Hope this helps!
