So simple but this is highly effective. Needed this video. Thanks Carl!

It's often the simple things that solve the most complex of things.

Then listen to Carl... ... one of the easiest to follow sources of "how to control" yourself from a time point of view. He is often a little "fast" in the videos - so backtrack on his blog and website, time well spent in my opinion.

Carl how do you merge blocking time with todos? You say that you use calendar for events, and todos for tasks. But I’ve tried many todo Apps, and all of them allow a starting time but not an end time for the task, so you can’t create the block. I’m a bit confused.

I block time on my calendar. For example - Work on Project A would be on my calendar between 9AM and 11AM. I would then open Todoist and Project A's tasks and start work on Project A. I very rarely add dates to my tasks in Todoist. Only if they absolutely need to be done on that day.

Carl Pullein it’s a good idea. I’m going to test it. Thank you for sharing.

This is VERY wise. I started this practice last year and it made the Today folder less scary and overwhelming.
