I've been on the pill for 8 years. And 2 months ago I decided to stop taking. The side effects don't even let me start on those. I've gained a shit ton of weight - from 55 kg to 82 kg. Sure I got bigger bewbs but also back pain and those mood swings and depression nearly destroyed my relationship. I never want to take any hormones ever again. And I feel like my cramps are less worse without the pill. Most doctors tell you those beautiful stories about amazing hair and skin but won't tell you about the risks.

I stopped taking hormonal birth control pills a little over a year ago & my mental health improved a lot, however because of the drastic hormonal change I broke out so bad, I had to go on accutane because of it 🙄 Also my cup size decreased 2 sizes over the span of a year. BUT I still feel better than before, even with the side effects of accutane, it’s nothing compared to the hormones! My boyfriend and I switched to condoms. He’s a man who doesn’t have a selfish bone in his body, it was actually his idea after he learned what the pill was doing to me.

Would love to see a video on the birth control method! And why you choose to do that one since it’s one of the least effective ones. Tbh I would be terrified to become pregnant with using that one. I’m off birth control pills for several years now, they just made me depressed af. Then I got a hormone spiral which did the same and fucked up my normal cycle (bleeding almost all the time) and also made me depressed and gain a lot of weight. Now I’m completely off hormones and have a copper spiral. Would have gone for the copper chain but that wasn’t gonna work for me sadly. I feel so so much better and happier I would never go back to taking hormones ever again!

Not to terrify you more...but a LOT of women I know have gotten pregnant using some form of BC. Personally I got pregnant and miscarried twice while on the depo shot. I know women that had IUDs and got pregnant, the arm implant, basic pills... They're so full of shit when they try to claim 99% effectiveness. 😥😥🤦‍♀️

I quit hormones 3 years ago and it was a great decision really. I had every side effect possible except for bigger boobs 🤣🤣 but being prone to infections was definitely the worst one. And this hair colour is so gorgeous on you I cant😍😍

Lots of times women have this side effects and it can stay for a long period of time. I'm in the middle of treatment for endometriosis and my medicine helped so much I wish I don't need to have surgery. I have started this in February and in the first week I had nausea, headaches but after that I felt so good. Now I'm not using it to see if I'm gonna be fine without it having my period back.

My co-worker got pregnant using this form of "contraception" and ended up having an abortion...it really messed her up! taking temperature really has to be super exact and precise and you need to take it extremely seriously. Then it can actually be an effective form of contraception. Definitely not the easiest way ☝️

Look up the Daysy thermometer and the effectiveness of it. The only error is human error, but it if used consistently it is more effective than hormonal birth control!! I've been on it for 5 years with a steady partner and have been very happy with it :)

I think it's fine if your thinking is that you kinda want to try to not get pregnant, but you're ok if you do. It is EXTREMELY unreliable. Oh my god insane results, I've been struggling with my blond - yellow - orange - white - grey hair for months (it's supposed to be ice blonde) . it's driving me crazy. But I can't seem to get it right. Even the hairdresser made me go home with orange left in it in my roots and last week she tried to fix it and I'm left with a lot of yellow... I guess I'm not going back there 😂 So I'm gonna order it and hope it cools it down or fixes some of it!

I know 5 people personally who have gotten pregnant while on hormonal birth control, all different kinds. I am a huge advocate for using the Daysy thermometer. It tracks your cycle for you and tells you when you're fertile. It's more effective than hormonal birth control in my experience.

I don’t use any birth control methods besides pull-out method, but I do track my cycle and have for over three years…I know those tracking apps aren’t always accurate for ovulation but I avoid sex even with the pull-out during the days it suggests I’m ovulating. Three years and no pregnancy yet

Your hair was cyan/teal, you could’ve used a red bleach wash to get blonde/platinum. Pro-tip: use a CMY & RGB color wheel, the traditional wheels are wrong bc of how color and light are perceived by the human eye
