5 Minute Face In A Makeup Case!

Today, I'm finally testing a full face of Trestique makeup using their 8 essential makeup kit. I did a full day wear test to see how each makeup product performs throughout the day. What do we think of this makeup concept?

I actually have the bronzer and use it daily for a light and casual everyday makeup look. When I’m at work I prefer a light cream contour and blush look and set it all. It’s all about preferences, I love small subtle looks for day wear.

Could you demo Maskcara? I’ve always been so curious about if it actually works as well as people advertise. It’s kind of a Lange deal... those that make money off of selling it seem to love it but i don’t see much from others. And it’s fairly pricey. I think it goes by a different name now though. Seint maybe?

I bought a clear pencil case for £1.00 and have all my favourite makeup in it. 175 dollars is a bit steep for products that don't appear that good.

I got the mascara in my Ipsy bag and I actually love it paired with my Lancôme primer. I use a lash primer for any mascara I use, anyway. It is my current favorite mascara with the primer. I love how it separates and lengthens.

Though I wish I saw this review before I bought it. Ugh. I would have to use an eye primer. Even with powder shadows I need a primer. My eyelids are OILY. If you EVER get a chance to get any Trinny London Makeup stacks - try it. So good for being a mom. I used to do it at the Car line dropping my kid off.

I’ve tried a few products and they do breakdown and smudge easily. I was so confused by how orange/warm the eyebrow products are and I’m a redhead! They barely work for me. The highlight stick is my favorite product I’ve tried.

I used to work for Lancome...I am a sucker for product but truely, it's still the top for me. The dual finish and Hypnose mascara are my staples.

I like the concept, and the packaging is very cute, but I've put together a similar travel kit for myself for less money. Seems like alot of the Trestique budget went into the packaging rather than the quality of the makeup. My own kit includes stick foundation, pink, nude, and brown multiuse color sticks (safe for lip, cheek, and eye) from Wet and Wild, mascara, and a small translucent pressed powder compact, all in a $1 makeup bag. I don't bring brushes, just use the pencils and my fingers, and set everything with the translucent powder, but YMMV. If you keep most of the makeup to a stick, pencil, or (mascara) wand, everything is a similar shape and it can all pack pretty small in a makeup pouch or large pencil case. You could probably include a few brushes, mirror, makeup sponge if you wanted to, depending on the size of the case.

Honestly I absolutely loooove the eyebrow pencil! It's the only pencil that actually stays all day and makes my brows look very full without looking too over done.....but the brow gel at the opposite end is such an odd color so I definitely don't use that! I really wanted to try their eyeshadow sticks buuuut after this review I think I might pass lol. Thanks for trying everything out girly love your channel! 💋

I received that mascara in my Ipsy plus bag. I was not a fan. It smudges and clumps badly when trying to build it up. The curler pinches my eyelashes because it is so small.

I received a mini to go kit from Trestique in a BoxyCharm and found them to be very disappointing as well. Formulas were overly creamy and the shades were off in that kit as well.

Hi Milabu, I love your videos, they are so great and informative and definitely save me a lot of money from buying things that wouldn't work. I have a recommendation for you to try, I've recently purchased an anlan multifunctional warm/cool facial massager and anlan intelligent eye massager, the instructions on these tools are horrible and not too informative and there are no tutorials anywhere that explains how to use.. It would be great if you can test and create a tutorial and how to! Thank you!

I tried this about two years ago - and was VERY disappointed. I'm not very good with makeup, and I don't own much of it, so I thought this would be THE kit to get. Everything was made by the same shop, so it would work well together, and be compact to carry and use. But I had ALL the same complaints that you did - and I foolishly thought I had 30 days to return - but it was only 14. Had to keep it all and I use NONE of it. I kept the case! I just found products that I liked that fit in the case and now I have my five minute face in a case - minus Trestique.

You got 8 products, so they didn’t forget to include anything. Looks like you get either a blush or bronzer in the “essential 8”, so you got the bronzer. Use the lip product as blush?

I counted eight products (base, cheek/bronzer, concealer, brows, eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and lipstick), so I think that the "blush" was the bronzer.

Oh snap-- I have similar hair color, I use Americano brow color, only ever got the mini so it's not pricey. Also I live their matte and glossy lips. I always use a primer with these shadow sticks and anything like it, even Mally and Tarte.

In the 8 piece kit you get 1 of the following: blush, highlighter or bronzer. You must have chosen the bronzer. It stinks and for the price you should get all 3. I found your channel looking up reviews for these products. I’m glad I did before purchasing. The makeup was junky.

I have the mascara and it definitely doesnt look like hers. It separates lifts and doesn't flake or smudge. Its actually pretty good. As for the rest of the brand I do agree with her. Its not good and definitely not worth the money.

This is not a "new" makeup brand? They have been around for a while. Yes, some of their stuff is not the best and the colors are off. The concealer is the best. Also the case is great to hold travel size/mini products.

Whoa that's expensive. You can easily get stick makeup products and build your own kit and get a similar pouch. Very gimmicky in my opinion.
