The friedman models everywhere i've heard them always sound so recognisable and yet they are so versatile. it's as if friedman himself appears in a cloud over the developers of these models and tells them exactly what to do

Dude it was so hard holding off till tonight to watch when I saw it pop up this morning! The Friedman models are one reason I am on the waitlist for an FM3! Can’t wait to play one with my Les Paul. I love Dave’s amp tones and options, just can’t afford (or justify to the wife) a true BE100 Deluxe. Good advice on the neg feedback tweak. Thanks for this one! 👍

I’ve got the Friedman be 50 deluxe and it’s a great amp man you need to get your hands on 1. Anyway I’m watching a bunch of your videos on the fm 3 because I’m trying to start a KZbin channel and also get a decent recording set up and it just seems like the way to go for all the sounds and easy recording purposes. I’m brand new to recording so hopefully it won’t be to much of a learning curve I’m trying to learn everything I can from videos.

Does Fractal have a Wizard Modern Classic model? IMO, it's like a vintage voiced SLO, but more raw. That one amp alone would be worth the cost of a Fractal.
@LeonTodd4 жыл бұрын
Not yet but it's been requested a lot. The Atomica High model cops a bit of that "Marshall on human growth hormone" vibe though.

Dave on either 'ToneTalk' or Pete Thorn's Sunday show, said that Line 6 did a fantastic job simulating the BE100. That said, I'm really liking the Marsha here ;-)

Great tone as always! Dude.. let me ask you please, On Fm3 I can create clean and drive tones on the "Fender.. Marshal.. Vox" amps using the same amp. I just make adjustments to the drive and equalize and it works. But on the Friedman amps it simulates, I can't create a clean at all. I've tried to leave the drive at "zero" I've tried to equalize.. but the timbre always stays with the drive loaded. The tone is nice, but not clean. How would I create a clean timbre in Fm3? I've seen in the real amp that the "BE100" for example has a clean channel. In fact it is very beautiful. So I see people switch channels between clean and drive. But in fm3 I can't leave clean. Could you give me some advice please? Cheers!

Thanks for the presets. I love the fm3, but find that I have to dial out a lot of low end on pretty much all of the presets and amps.

5150 Block letter, 6505, 5150 III 50w and 5150 III 100w are all modelled. Latency is about 2ms which is not noticeable.

Super! Makes me think so much of the "heaviness" of old Sabbath was the fact Tony tuned down while everyone else stayed in standard
@sadwingsraging30444 жыл бұрын
@@LeonTodd Were blues guitars, electric and acoustic, played in drop tuning for the most part? As much as I listened to the blues in my life, and being born in Memphis that means all of my life, I have never actually thought of how the tuning of a guitar was done. Hard to think of a good blues tune with bright cheerful guitar sounds come to think of it. Grab that Tele and maybe give us a 5 minute tones of suggesting some great blues guitar amps and settings on the FM3? Hopefully that 5 minutes turns into at minimum 15 minutes because of 'blues'. Which leads to southern rock obviously and THAT deserves a 30 minute tones all by itself and giving it some eh' ! On another note have you ever thought of doing a few videos on the history of the guitar, the history of the differing styles of music, then the history of effects from cutting speakers to the Axe3?
@LeonTodd4 жыл бұрын
Open d and open g tunings are not for slide stuff and blues - tuning to suit the singer makes a lot of sense there.
