Leon your heavy riffs especially with the drop C PRS rock and kick ass, but when you play with the shimmer and ambient reverbs, that's just magical and gets me every time I hear you play those progressions.

2 weeks now with my FM3,and every day it impressed me more and more....I don’t usually play clean very much,but the other day,by accident I stuck a Fender Silver Face in one of my amp channels,and it sounded amazing...amazing little box....just ordered the FC6 to go with it...

I know I say this on like every video you post, but I love the artist inspired videos you do with the axe fx iii. I’d love to see some more of those with the fm3. You should totally do like Van Halen, ACDC, Motley Crue, Alice in Chains, SRV, etc. Any old rock bands would be great. As always I love your videos and keep them coming! Great playing as well, Leon! You can hear the artifacting right in this video when he is letting chords ring with high gain 3:44 and 6:23 It is so difficult to detect though, you only hear it if you know what to listen for, and it is not easy to describe either. This is nowhere near the amount of artifacting you would hear on Helix, which people try to "dial out" forever thinking they can get it out by tweaking.

I wish I could afford to buy ANY Fractal unit and pay him set me up with his dialed-in patches. The older I get, I grow lazy and hate setting up even my old G-Majors. I have a Blackstar ID Core 10 that even tires me! With the release of this, I'm even more confused of what to buy now. Everything tastes great at Le Fractal Bistro featuring Chef Leon.

Tony Vermeer I use an HX stomp with a rocktron prophesy and a tc g major 2. I find myself spending a lot of time just tweaking presets but I love doing that. Sometimes I forget to take time and actually play something

Happens to me too. If I bring a live rig home, I get a small window of opportunity to make patches suitable for stage volume. I twiddle & fiddle then when I'm ready to turn it up - wife comes home and I get about 5 more mins before.. "The Look".

Hey Leon, great vids. So I’m on the waitlist for the FM3, but in the meantime I would like to learn how to use the FM3’s midi to store and change the channels on my H&K Grandmeister 40. Right now I am using the HX Effects to do so. Do you have a tutorial on midi switching using the FM3? This way I can use it as a controller and also use the great built in effects. Of course I can plug it directly into a PA as well. Ends up getting plenty of uses and becomes a good investment. Thanks.

Can you connect your AX8 to your FM3 and use the AX8 for a clean and the FM3 for all other tones. Furthermore, can the AX8 foot switches control the FM3 when they are connected to each other? Is any of that possible or has anybody tried that?

Sir I need your honest feedback on fractal vs helix, because I’m planning to buy one for my live show and also most of the videos are confusing because the players are editing the tones of signal using VSTs and the viewers are not getting exact clarity and end up buying something which is either complex to program and falls apart in terms of their desire of reaching that sweet spot. Which one should I go with(helix vs ax8 vs FM3). My taste is rock and ambient tone. Your comments are much appreciated. Thank you Paz

What you hear on all my videos, regardless of the brand, is what you see on the unit - I don't add any post EQ or mastering flourishes.I mostly play rock, metal and ambient/looping stuff and the FM3 is perfect for me.

Not many footswitches available. With the AX8 I can toggle all these effects individually because there are a lot of footswitches. Seems tough to manage a pedal chain with the FM3. I don't want to sit at a computer to turn on/off different effects while playing

Sounds awesome as always, LT! Question for ya - for a home user, I already have the Axe II XL+. Is there any real advantage to changing over to the FM3? I do almost all editing on Axe-Edit, and really have nothing on the floor. Thinking if I were to change, I would just be chasing the "new-latest-greatest" widget as I did with the AX8. It was not a satisfying switch. Cheers!

You can do all of this from the front panel - it's just easier to screen capture the editor than it is to set up another camera for me when making vids :)

There's a few EJ inspired presets, along with all the ingredients to create an EJ style rig (Plexi's, tube driver, fuzz, dumbles etc)
