This dude only made TWO attempts within the arc tonight. Crazy considering what he usually does with tearing apart defenses down low. I think the Hawks defense told him to just shoot threes and he knocked em down.

Foxie a beast , but Mike Brown need to figure out this rotation. It’s never consistent
@bonecold4387

Needs to pull Huerter out of the lineup for Monk. That'll fix a lot of these 1st half problems. Fox doesn't usually take off until the 2nd half or once he gets a feel of the game. So let Monk be the spark right out of the gate because our offense has looked weird and inconsistent in most first quarters UNTIL Monk comes in. I'd even throw Lyles in the lineup. Fox, Monk, Murray, Lyles, Sabonis. There's enough good players left on the bench with that lineup to figure the rest out.

Huerter should come off the bench. He misses easy layups and he can no longer shoot the 3, which is why we have him. Barnes idk, I feel like he doesn’t really belong in the starting lineup. Lyles should start over him. However I feel like Brown needs to cut Huerters minutes until he has proven himself. He’s literally just an extra body on the floor that isn’t contributing. Idk what happened to last seasons Huerter

A team's rotation doesn't necessarily always need to be the same. Sometimes the rotation will change depending on matchups and Mike Brown is known for that.

Needs to be better in the first half for sure he's done a little better this year than last year to me but his biggest hump now is his free throw shooting. Everything about his game has became pretty polished but you can't be a lower 70's percentile free throw shooter as a star guard. His misses don't look bad either kind of how his three used to be. You can see the smooth stroke but they just weren't falling. If he can get his free throw shooting to at least decent he'd be averaging 32+ per game.

You want him to take 30 shots and have everybody else stand around ? He's a 6'3 185 pound guard, the guy can't dominate every quarter all season ffs. How about the players around him pull their own weight ? The guy is scoring 30 and shooting 40 from 3 and its still not enough for some of you "fans" .

I think he conserves his energy/intensity until it’s needed. If the rest of the team cookin, he eases off the gas and let everyone else do their thing. If not, well….he gotta be HIM.

@@bonecold4387 How bout the role players like Keegan hit the wide open shots Fox and Sabonis create instead of shooting 30% from 3s all seasn? They had 1 job, maybe they should be good at that instead of complaining bout Fox whos playing like a MVP so far.

In that closeup at the end he is cussing himself out for missing free throws. Good! He SHOULD be mad! Sure as hell pisses me off his entire career. I used to think he preferred off-balance shots and that's why his free throw was suspect, but he is usually very balanced on his newfound deadly three ball. I just dont think he takes his free throw practice seriously
@bonecold4387
@bonecold4387 6 ай бұрын
I think he does, which is why he's critical of himself. But, I also think it's probably in his head so much that every miss feels like 5 misses and every make feels like man I really hope I hit this next one so I can break out of this. A lot of self pressure at the line. Needs to just trust his shot the same way he has learned with his 3 ball because he has all of the mechanics to be a good free throw shooter.

Those physiological slumps are real. He needs 3-4 back to back free throw shooting games to get his confidence going at the line.

Tell the coaches to insert another big with sabonis. In ATL we didn't get a foul drawn until 2:30 left in quarter 1 and ATL was already in bonus. Its disrupting our entire offensive flow so one thing that could help is insert 2 bigs in the post and draw the double and kick out for better open 3s and also draw fouls earlier in game and get our shooters going earlier.

He does work on his free throws. All he can do is his best, thankfully he does every other thing we could ask of him. He even worked on his threes and has become a premiere distance shooter. Grateful to have him.
