imagine sitting listening to this speech from a multi millionaire telling you money isn't important and only being nice matters, Money is the most evil thing on this planet and actors or sport stars sitting saying it's not about the money while they have to much is what is wrong in the world. People and kids are starving to death but people like matthew held out for that extra 5 million on his last acting job. Think about it.

My Dad was full of wisdom. He said to do all things in moderation. Stay in the middle. As people most of us live in denial. Its a living perpetual lie. A mindset that allows us to do the things we know aren’t beneficial to us. If our hidden facade is exposed we get defensive...,stay close minded. Some folks are NEVER wrong. To be free of this position , take the opposite path. Be open minded. Be wrong and admit you don’t know all the answers. Learn to say we and stop saying I all the time. Let others speak and listen without judgement. Be patient. We know what to do. What is difficult is putting it into practice and consistency. In this world, the cards are stacked against us. Life moves fast. Somebody always seems to need something from you. Your job is so demanding and leaves you tired with no free time. Sound like you? It’s all of us. Never enough money, rising prices, corruption and greed rule the land. As if life isn’t hard enough.,,,Now let’s add a virus, excesses of racism, rich getting richer, poor folks fighting to stay alive while others have more than they could ever spend....LIFE IS TOUGH! Take a deep breath. Now listen to these words very carefully. SIMPLICITY, PATIENCE, COMPASSION. YOU WILL BE OKAY. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. YOU ARE LOVED. ALL THIS DARKNESS WILL PASS.

I love these words of wisdom and encouragement. You are fortunate to have such a mentor in your life. It’s taken me over 65 years to understand these truths. I’m listening more to the wisdom of the whisper of truth that resides within me. I’m smarter than I thought! 😂😂The other voice of negativity is there too, but I recognize it now and it’s just noise, not truth. Thank you for sharing your truths. God bless you. ❤❤❤

I have to say as I sit here listening to Mr. Mathews speech already realizing that I am a broken man. I have struggled with drug addiction most of all my life. I am facing legal issues that can take me from the ones I love. I am 52 years old and should be wise and happy in life. But I am not. This is the best motivational and inspiring speeches I have ever heard.God put this out there for me to hear so I can have hope in my life that even at this age it's not to late for me or anybody else out there who is watching this video. Thank you Mr. McConaughey and Thank you Lord for leading me to this very wise and inspiring words. Much Love and God Bless everyone.

As a Victim of Violence, I identify myself as a Survivor. It is a journey of healing, each day teaches me something new about myself. When you live with constant death threats, degrading humiliation, intimidation, gas lighting, and under constant tracking and surveillance, it reduces your normal options. You become a survival artist and deeply attached to meditation and prayer. Then you become a Exit Strategist constantly vigilant of dangers. I survived. If anyone is in a relationship that is toxic and dangerous- know that it’s not your fault and you can escape...reach for life!

I also identify myself as a survivor!! I AM NOT a victim!!! I'm an overcomer with ambition, an immortal finish line, self respect, a deep love for the attributes God created me with and a desire to use them the way He intended! My habits are purposeful, my hobbies are purposeful, the way I spend my time is purposeful, how I treat others is purposeful and my choices are purposeful, because life is not accidental! Success is not accidental! Joy is not accidental! I applaud you!!! Press forward toward what lies ahead, leaving that which is behind! Go girl GO!!!!!

So sad he didn't write it, and is reading words off a screen in front of him. So sad people believe actors. You are actually hearing the words of an intern that worked weeks to refine the speech only to receive no glory and nearly minimum wage. I stand with her and wish more people recognize that actors giving speeches... are actors... giving speeches - just like a movie.

This is one man's view of the world and himself. Not yours. Happiness is a state of being not the result of a favorable outcome. Some times Happiness results from that. But I can smile just watching my dogs play and it makes me happy. We all have the capacity for good and evil. Sometimes what we are is forced on us and sometimes we choose it based on survival or acceptance.

As God and all of you are my witness, I will live these truths, cure my mental illness and save myself from utter despair. Today is the day I get to know myself. Today is day one. I will rebuild my relationship with my girlfriend and my children. I will get my career on track. I intend to do all of this. There is no alternative. So be it.

Exactly what he said and what ive done for 40 yrs and so on. If it was not for the us Federal Agencies, the galatic govt, the us spl forces and school as well as the holy host Army. I would not have a story. Please listen to Matthew and so many other inspiring people. You dont need entitlements, freedom and rights to achieve greater height. God already created you to be a whole lot more. I am privilege to do the things so i can teach young people how to be better than they ever thought and i start by social media and work my way to bigger listener's.

I rarely ever comment but needed to here… Since my separation and divorce from the same man … I’ve been with him my entire life for 17 years - I am now 34. Since separation -I’ve been doing the inner intense healing work on myself, therapy and listening to motivational or educational videos at night - such as this is one .. which btw is one the best I’ve come across as far. I’ve been watching one video at night for the last five months and this is one of the top five videos. I appreciate Matthews ability to articulate the message that he wants to spread and stick and I found myself stopping to take notes throughout to make sure that I don’t miss any of those GEMS he dropped. I will definitely be sharing with my friends and family and thank you and your channel for posting such amazing videos I am a subscriber and I always appreciate your uploads. Know that you were making such a difference in folks live such as myself during very difficult times. Thank you for all of your hard work and I know this is coming from not just myself but thank you for all of us!! 💞💞💞💫💫💫✨🙏🏾
