The knife switching one is one that i get yelled at by my better (ascendent and diamond+) friends, but for the opposite. I have a problem with not taking it out to run quicker, or bring too quiet and baiting everyone

Bro this is hella true like sometimes you need to take a 30% chance that an enemy is not there to get a timing. I feel like some of these rules are trying to generalize the game when it is variable and you have to play to your best judgment. Though understanding when to do certain things can definitely be taught, I don’t think there are necessarily “rules” to valorant.

Honestly that’s a worse problem than just having it out. If you are slow to rotate then you lose timing diff on enemies and lose the round. Happens to me sometimes.

I’d say one big one is not always playing with your teammate. Let’s say it’s a 3v2 post plant on attack, and the instalock Jett now pushes spawn on Ascent. I’d say you should push up with them, don’t let them just instantly die. Yeah it’s the “incorrect play,” but I’d say playing with teammates and trading them is more important. In doing this you are able to secure a trade at the very least

1 very random tip is to not use sprais because it can be heard. i cant even count how many times i managed to figure out where the enemy team is going just of of hearing that spray sound effect

If you flash they immediately hide so there isn't much to do against that and this also makes it hard to get kills because I can hut them with a marshal then they will hide the rest of the game and if we loose I usually won't get the kill

When it comes to melee i cant say that "when 0%", its almost never zero, still sometimes its essential to risk pulling out melee to get the insane timing while lurking on ur enemies or smth.

First one is wrong, a flash will only cause an operator player to fall back. Never ever will they just stand there and get killed. Wait a few seconds to throw them off because and then quickly peak and pre fire them.

The op is broken in any Elo not because there’s not enough util being used but rather not everyone has util to counter it when peaking. If you have to push a site and there’s an op holdinh it and ur the only one left, without flashes or smokes you’re pretty screwed for pushing it. Yeah you can get lucky and hope they miss and you don’t but that is luck. It’s not fair for some who don’t have util to push up against an op.

the only thing about flashing ops is that people often stand next to a wall and when you flash them they will just hide re-peek and kill you anyway

Ok lets say the match start and someone as an op on an angle and you didn't know there was someone with an op. Do you use you utility risking of giving your position if nobody was hold the angle or verify (not dry peaking) that there someone taking that specific angle ?
