Again.... nice! Didn't learn too much about Patcher specifically here... besides realising I _was_ using patcher kinda incorrectly.... as a generator, with the synth inside of Patcher, then messing about with parallel effects (inside the 'generator' Patcher). FL 'teething problems'. BUT, you've reminded me of the awesomeness/flexibility of the 'Fruity Send' plugin. You heard of 'Brainmodular Usine'? It's this program's fault I fell in love with 'patching'. Aditionally, FL's 'Minihost Modular' was the primary reason I became aware of/invested in FL Studio.

Using Patcher as a generator and doing routings in there isn´t "wrong" at all... There is no right or wrong... just personal preference and sometimes some general decisions about e.g. CPU usage... I never was into Usine... I heard of it but that´s basically all I know of it...

@@flstudiotricks6903 I get ya, obviously it's available as a generator as well as an effect for a reason, but for my use cases, my methods were a little pointless. I just get lost sometimes. :)

Hi. Love you videos. How do you set up a mod wheel in a patcher instrument without it controlling all the mod wheels in the project? I have set up all the other parameters using 'override generic link' but it doesn't work for the mod wheel. Thanks for what you do for the community.

This isn´t possible in this way... at least to my knowledge... Because FLS doesn´t work with Midi internally they use a little trick to assign the Modwheel and the Pitchbend to 3rd party instruments by default... This trick doesn´t work for native plugins (like Patcher is...) A plugin which is hosted in patcher can just be controlled by creating a new connection via link to controller... By doing so you kill the generic links trick to all other VSTi´s in the project...as link to controller has a higher priority than generic links... The easiest way is to use a different CC number for what you want to do in Patcher and leave the mod wheel alone... Sorry for not having better news... but I can be wrong... Perhaps some Midi cracks on the IL forums can help better...
