Absolutely stoked you included Ice Cream man in this video. I've collected all of the soft cover volumes of it thus far. Also if you haven't read Colder by Paul Tobin that is a wonderfully disturbing comic about insanity.

Hey Mike! LUV, LUV, LUUUUV this video!!! Horror is probably-- well, almost certainly my favorite genre! And I'm digging ur list here, man! Ok, so, "Gideon Falls"! Excellent pick! It's smart, psychological & supernatural horror, w/a strong weird fiction vibe that gets under ur skin w/it's atmosphere of eerie dread! I bought the 1st trade & was blown away! It's everything I mentioned above PLUS a seriously enthralling mystery happening, as well! I had forgotten, when I talked to u about Lemire & me not having read any of his work, that this was written by him, lol! He definitely lives up to the hype! At least w/this book! And Sorrentino's art... holy moley! This is some next level use of panel arrangements/layouts & compositions!!! Just incredible! I sold my volume 1 trade because I knew as soon as I was finished reading it that Image would give it the Dlx HC treatment! I wasn't even thinking about it being Lemire, lol. Ur right, just the book being written by him would almost assure Dlx HC Eds.! But the art! I thought, "There's no way a story THIS GOOD right out of the gate, w/this GENIUS/MADMAN'S ARTISTIC CHOICES won't get the Dlx HC treatment!" This art BEGS to be displayed on more than a 10"×6.6" standard size paperback! So, I am very much looking forward to the 1st appropriate-for-this-series edition!😁 Next up, was "Fatale". While I have not read it(I'm ashamed, being a HUGE fan of Lovecraftian horror/weird fiction, smh😏), it is one that I briefly talked to u about before, & it looks very intriguing, w/it's Lovecraftian/noir mashup!🙄 Then u had, "Nameless"! THANK U, THANK U, THANK U for choosing this one!!! I actually bought this last winter, & I read the 1st chapter's worth. And while I struggled w/trying to understand what was happening-- mainly I would always think, "Should I understand what just happened, or comprehend all that's happened up to this point(wherever that point in the 1st chapter was... & it was multiple points,😄)?" Yet, because I am a fan of weird fiction, I still LOVED IT! Very Lovecraftian in its themes(from what I could tell)! But I was a bit stressed, too because of my OCD & my need to reread sentences or whole pages over & over & over!😕 So I thought I'd do some lighter reading(it was around the holidays & I kinda wanted to just read some things a bit more straightforward when it came to my horror choices-- things like "Tales from the Crypt", "Creepy", & other short stories w/some fun, often darkly humorous snap endings). Since u have read it all, I have to ask u: As I'm reading, *should* I *always* feel like I am following everything that's happening? I know w/Morrison, he can be esoteric & confusing & challenging at times(I luv most of the works he's done that I've read! There's no doubt he's a genius! But sometimes it seems like he's maybe indulging in a bit of... "mental masturbation", so-to-speak, lol? Kind of just satisfying himself w/the crazy shit he's coming up with, & not really considering that the reader might be more than just a *tad* lost in terms of what is happening or what Morrison, himself is trying to say, & are not in-sync or about ready to "climax" w/him at the same time? That in fact, there's a fair chance that they're about ready to say "I'm sorry, sweetie, but I've got a bad headache" instead?😆 I'm not being mean, lol. I really do LUV most of the Morrison stuff I've read! But that's how it feels, sometimes, lol. Ok, lol, up next was the FANTASTICALLY smart & disturbing "Ice Cream Man"! YES!!! I LUV anthology horror, & this series does it brilliantly! And again, it plays w/aspects of weird fiction to create it's disturbing sense of something being "off"-- that sense of dread that, if u like being scared in a cerebrally disturbing way, u will be in horror heaven, as u get it in spades w/this series!!! Excellent choice!!! And lastly, "Rachel Rising". I knew next-to-nothing about this until now. And it both sounds interesting & looks great! I think b&w art can work better than horror for some types of stories, & vice-versa. And the line work on this looks very good! I still have so many books to read yet, that I won't be able to add this one anytime soon.😞 But I hope it's still available by the time I get thru a good chunk, at least, of what is still on my plate, lol! I have too many titles I own & luv to suggest any right now, lol, but u will throw out 2 ofc the top if my head: "Colder" by Dark Horse, & anything by Junji Ito! He is the master!!!😊 Great vid, Mike! Thanx, man! Tell Matt "hey" for me! Stay safe! 😉👍🏻

I’d like to start by saying your channel is one of my new favorites and I look forward to future videos. Keep up the great work! Horror/Suspense is easily my favorite genre and one that I feel really works well in a graphic story medium. I am also looking forward to deluxe versions of Gideon Falls and Ice Cream Man. I’ve seen Revival on your shelf? How does that rate? Also, have you read Postal? I’m interested in both but haven’t seen much discussion on KZbin.

I got a book being made. Any advice on how I should get it to the public to buy? All the barcode, ISBN, tax, pricing the book is confusing to me. All these books featured here I would equate them with a $20 million budget Hollywood film. My book would be a very low budget independent film, but, still deliver the goods, I hope.

Where is Dylan Dog the investigator of the nightmare born from the mind of Tiziano Sclavi and from the pencil of Claudio Villa. One of the best horror comics ever that should rightfully be in any ranking, but unfortunately an ignorance it must be fought.

it makes me so angry to see you at the end talking as if TWD, Crossed and nailbiter are horror, THEY ARE NOT, they are action/drama type of comic books, stop labeling it wrong, people will pay a lot of money for them and end up being disappointed because of people like you that misslabel things.

The walking dead is a horror action drama. (Zombies) Nailbiter is a crime thriller. And crossed is post apocalyptic. Horror is defined by supernatural malevolent villains. Horror stories can be action, mystery, or thrillers (thrillers are combination action and mystery). You don’t even know what horror is, jimmy.
