Y’all are forgetting he can unplug that iPad and carry it around with him. And probably not just a calendar when he’s not in the office. At my job I have 3 monitors I need 6. One for emails. One for teams. One for locking and unlocking one for inventory. And one for scheduling locks and one to display the project report.

I'd do 1 monitor for IDE, 1 or 2 monitors for docs & research, 1 monitor for shell, 1 monitor for devops pipeline. IPad for emails.

Hey man, I dig this setup despite what I've read some have said!! I've been trying to utilize four monitors I have with a laptop. Your video clearly shows your monitors working but my question is what connections do I need? Is there a docking station somewhere in your setup?

There is a docking station for sure. Do check for compatibility before buying a dock. Especially the output for display resolution and hz. Usually only a display-link compatible dock can be used for multiple displays on mac. For windows, i think any dock would work fine.

@@Iam_db Thanks for the reply. I discovered that my graphics card will only support up to three monitors. I think that was my discovery. If I had a top notch graphics card, I think it could.handle the output for more than three displays.

what youre talking about is "Duplicate Display" for the screen. Pretty sure people with loads of monitor uses "Extend Display". ALT + TAB wont affect all of the monitors. Just the specific or main display.
