New subscriber. Glad to find someone I can walk this journey with. Friday I will be 2 months loc and I get my first retwist tomorrow. This starter loc phase is really hard but I'm trying to just be confident in my own skin. Since starting my journey I pulled my wig out once.. just trying to stay positive and embrace it all

I'm so not confident I just started 10/17/22 I literally look like my 11 year old Grandson...this part of the journey is testing my gangsta RS, I'm looking so different although I do have hope , I believe this journey is going to work, I say this but don't feel it most days, but I'm gone say it till I reach booty length " I believe this journey is going to work!"

it just takes time. locs can take anywhere from 6 months-1+ years to fully loc depending on texture and locing method

Aren't those the same thin ones as ur previous set? I think ur hair is just finer in those places so u should have went bigger in those spots this time around, so definitely combine them from now. ❤
