I was wondering when you were going to post a update. I definitely wanted to see your progress because we started the same day. I actually wait 6 weeks now to get a retwist as well. And you can definitely see my length now. I'm so excited about this journey. We're almost half a year!!! Yay congrats

Ros Prettylovely this is soo cool... I love having someone who is also on the same journey with me. What are you doing to celebrate your 6 month loc-a-versary

Knotty Kay I haven't thought about it but I was thinking of trying my first style, since I have only been rocking my locs hanging down this entire time. What about you?

I can vouch for the use of peppermint oil to soothe an itchy scalp. Peppermint and tea tree oil are complete life savers and you only need a few drops in a spray bottle💓

How often do you wash your hair ..since you havent retwist your hair in 5 wks?? Maybe thats why your not going through the frizz ...my hair is frizzy because i wash my locs ever wk or 2 wks im 2 months locked in

Nice! I'm 5months into my loc journey as well! And a buff as a headband or use a head covering [covering the middle of MY head and letting the ends hang out] But love info in the video!!!

You are exactly like me. I don't use any edge control or any product on my hair. I only use a pure essential. Lemongrass oil is my favorite but I use pure peppermint oil for itching. Walgreens has the essential oils $6 each in the section where the vitamins are located. I love your hair and it is growing fast.

Make sure you use 100% pure peppermint oil. This oil you just showed Iv'e seen in the beauty store and it is not 100% pure.

Yes your hair is gonna shrink that’s all apart of the process when your hair is locing.

And I’m 4c to. My hair really doesn’t get that frizzy either. But that back of my hair is a much softer loose texture like a 4a.
@anestaciarobinson70956 жыл бұрын
I wishhhhh I had 4C I'm 14 weeks in and I'm a bit "jelly" of 4c hair textures. It locs better to me and when I was a loose natural I use to tease my hair for a afro or puffs. Ended up damaging my hair from teasing too much. Even my profile photo is a teased puff from like 4 years ago lol.

Saeeda Cherry my hair separates from the loc 😩 but the lady who takes care of my hair crochets the ones with too much loose hair.
