5 Morbidly Dark Games... That Make Chris Laugh.

One dark themed game that I always wanted to try is “Bring Out Yer Dead”. Trying to get the best grave plots for your family that has died due to the plague and throwing other player’s family members into the river... yes it’s terrible but it sounded whimsically dark.

Murder of Crows (boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/128475/murder-crows) is a fun little card game where you're trying to spell M-U-R-D-E-R using the cards while also building on the story, while trying to prevent your opponents from finishing theirs. Kill Dr Lucky also falls into this as the spite builds up to kill the old man

The Bloody Inn is amazing. We always find ourselves laughing about how "I have to either bury this body or kill the cop." and Gloom always devolves into a storytelling with no one even keeping track of the score.

We love bloody inn. The stories and character voices in this game make it. Often we’ll make up why the two peasant lovers need to do a couple quick kills just to make some money so they can move away and start their life together somewhere peaceful. Or I’ll have a band of murder sisters who do it just for fun. Checking people out in the morning when clearly there are fewer patrons than who checked in also makes for good stories. It’s such a fun game if you get into the theme.

Cthulhu Gloom with one opponent and we both know the mythos very well...I think we both almost passed out from laughing
