Gonna nail this on the head right here and now! By highlighting the fact that these iconic landmarks of luxury are Black owned is not intended to create division! Actually it does matter. There's way too much press on white, patriarchal, conservative old money families and no celebrations of the success of minority families and groups who have travelled a long way against difficult odds to be able to enjoy the same or similar successes. Highlighting differences and diversity is not divisiveness. It is acknowledging the journey of different cultures instead of "whitewashing" them. Check your privilege. Get real. ❤

I can’t believe that there is a category called “black mansions.” Now you need to have “white mansions” and then “black & white mansions”. What about “yellow mansions” and “red mansions”? This is one of those things where, IT DON’T MATTER what color the owner is. Does it? I get so tired of divisiveness.
